The roots of our business had a humble beginning in a small Amish community in Ohio. Our founder was born and raised with strong Amish morals that not only taught him the value of hard work, quality and custom craftsmanship, but also showed him the value of a job well done. He later left the community and ventured out on his own with only a small amount of cash in his pocket, but a wealth of experience and a strong will to succeed.
After gaining valuable business experience and skill as a sub-contractor, he knew that he must make a bold move to help secure his future in this industry. In 2008, amid economic turmoil, he ventured out on his own starting Bontrager Construction. In 2009 he was successful enough to hire his first employee.
