For pediatric dental emergencies please call (830)757-9700 now to set up your emergency visit. Children are not tiny adults! They are children. Because kids have different psychological, physical, and emotional traits when compared to adults, conscious sedation is a must in pediatric dentistry. Was your child denied care at a traditional dental office?

We offer gentle dental care to infants and children using hospital dentistry procedures. This service is for children with specific needs that make it difficult to find dental care. Parents are welcome to bring their children to the Smile Factory. We accept walk-in patients. The AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry) recommends your baby's first dental care visit be at 6 months or immediately if your baby is born with teeth.
Services
Eagle Pass has historically been underserved when it comes to pediatric dental care. Born and raised in Eagle Pass, Dr. Alejandro Esquivel knew he had to make the change. After becoming a specialized pediatric dentist, Dr. Alejandro Esquivel opened Smile Factory Pediatric Dentistry to take care of children's teeth.
If your child is experiencing a true medical emergency that can't wait for a dentist, call 911. Recover the tooth and rinse it with only water. Do not use soap. Make sure to only touch the crown of the tooth, avoiding the root. Store it in a sanitary container. Call us immediately. If you act quickly, it's possible to save a permanent, or adult, tooth.
We specialize in children's dental health. Be at ease knowing that we use the most ethical, modern, and kid friendly sedation process available in pediatric dentistry. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) have guidelines when providing deep sedation or general anesthesia to children.
We offer full blown hospital dentistry services for children at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass, TX and Dimmit Regional Hospital in Carrizo Springs. At Smile Factory Pediatric Dentistry, we specialize in kids dental health. Everything about our dental office was intentionally made with your children in mind to make their visit comfortable, safe, and fun.
We're available Monday through Friday and take the most severe or significant first. Only toothaches with swelling and/or bleeding, as well as physical trauma to the teeth and/or face are considered dental emergencies. Any other condition or situation (e.g., minor toothache, broken or lost fillings) is not considered an emergency and requires a scheduled appointment.

Very unorganized!! Arrived early for appointments and still had to wait half hour while the upcoming appointments were being seen while I still had to wait over half an hour past my appointment! Isn't that what appointments are for? To be seen at your appointment time?
I always wasted time when my children had appointments.
