This talented team of Key West based photographers met in Savannah in their early teens and have been together ever since. They are easily the most sought-after photographers (wedding and otherwise) in Key West. They truly believe Key West sets the perfect backdrop for Destination Weddings. The laid-back Island vibes, unique wedding venues, trop rock bands and exquisite cuisine.
Key West Elopements and Small Weddings are something that we have shot for years, but have not really advertised. Well, here they are a nice collection of some of our favorite, less than 20 person weddings, locally photographed in Key West and the Florida Keys. We cut the strings and give little direction. Documentary photography is capturing what actually happens, rather than trying to orchestrate events to photograph. Full disclosure, I haven't gotten our photos yet but I have no doubt they will be wonderful! David and Julie are an absolute joy to work with!! My now husband and I were dreading the photography part of our wedding. We're both awkward introverts and being in front of a camera does not come naturally to us. David and Julie were a joy to communicate with before the wedding. They took the lead since we had NO idea what we were doing and drove us to a beautiful location for some of our non ceremony shots. We had a small 5 person wedding and all 5 of us really enjoyed working with a David

Let me just stay DON’T USE this photographer or her husband’s business Big Day in Key West. I had contacted these businesses when I found out that I was losing my job. IT is over a month’s notice that I would not be able to get married at this time and we have to cancel the wedding. Paying for a place to live instead of spending money on a wedding seems like a logical thing to do. Julie messaged me on FB denying the return of my deposit because she claims she can’t get the business any longer with 30 days+. Don’t waste your money on something that isn’t guaranteed. This is the worst

We knew we wanted to work with Julie and David from our first call with them. Their approach to photography was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our wedding day - documenting it exactly how it happened. Neither of us have ever been big fans of overly staged or posed pictures, and knew that for our wedding day, we wanted a photographer that would capture us as naturally as possible. And they did not fall short! Our pictures are absolutely stunning and I still catch myself randomly looking through the albums every few nights, since we haven't printed any out yet!

Julie and David are beyond amazing. We had family pictures taken with them during our vacation in Key West. They are both so nice and friendly and were also patient with our little kids and just rolled with whatever our kids seemed to be doing. This made the whole session more pleasant and comfortable for not only the kids, but for my husband and I as well. We are in love with the pictures they captured and we highly recommend Studio Julie Photography!

Studio Julie was everything and more that we could have hoped for in our wedding photographers. From check in phone calls leading up to the big day, to helpful advice and tips the day of, and finally to coordinating our album with them afterwards, every step of our experience working with them was absolutely perfect. I'm camera shy and before I met them, I wasn't sure what a day of working with photographers would feel like, but I quickly realized I had no need to worry-- they made me and everyone at our wedding feel so comfortable and the photos turned out amazing. We selected Studio Julie for family photos at Ft. Zach. Booking and scheduling was a seamless process. David and Julie were a pleasure to meet and spend an evening with while they chatted with us and took beautiful photos of our family. They were so good with our young girls, including them in the process and getting to know them. They captured “real life” images. My biggest challenge is picking which ones to display. We highly recommend!!

We were blown away when looking at our photos. We chose them due to their ability to take candid pictures. They took so many wonderful candid photos of our ceremony and our reception. This is a shout out to Studio Julie and her sidekick, David, with support from their amazing son! We accidentally bumped into each other, or more likely, FATE brought us together roughly 15yrs ago for our eldest daughter's Sweet 16. Julie and David are absolutey amazing! What talented photographers! I mean they really go out of their way to capture some unique and perfect moments. And when I say go out of their way...I mean it! Not to mention they are just so fun to be around. Julie was in the girls room taking photos while we were all getting ready and she made me feel so comfortable. When it came to shooting photos at the reception I literally didn't even notice that they were in the room. I mean serious stealth mode! I highly recommend them. Especially for those candid moments. After all, those moments are priceless

We have some beautiful portrait style pictures as well, but so many wonderful moments that help tell the story of our wedding day.
