CMOHS is an award winning portable dental program with over 40 years of experience in Massachusetts. Currently we serve over 300 sites in more than 75 communities statewide.

CMOHS is at the forefront of meeting the needs of the underserved, especially children from lower-income families and children of racial and ethnic minority. Children who are free from pain and infection show improvement in their classroom studies and test scores thus advancing their ability to excel in school.

Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services (CMOHS) is focused on meeting the needs of underserved individuals.

Dr. Brady, grew up locally, in Concord, MA. He attended Boston College where he received BS in Biology and a minor in Environmental Sciences.

He is the President of and CEO for Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services. Dr. Doherty launched CMOHS in the early-1980s to provide oral health services for disadvantaged children and adolescents who were unable to access dental care.

We offer a comprehensive model of dental care that provides diagnosis, prevention, treatment of disease and education in community-based settings. Our staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of children, adults and elders who have difficulty accessing dental care.
Before the Commonwealth Mobile Oral Health Services (CMOHS) team visits your location, we will need to distribute and collect dental consent forms. The dental consent form includes a medical and dental health history to be completed by the parent/guardian/patient (as appropriate). The CMOHS dental provider will review the medical history, take radiographs (as needed), examine the teeth and write a treatment plan for each patient.

I was here several years ago and it was a great use of space in the hangar bay of the Yorktown.
Interesting Observation: As you know, there are so few CM of H's awarded today but if you look at the ones that were issued during the Civil War, there were an astonishing number of recipients. Yes, upward of one million men fought and died in that war but the reason so many CMoH's were issued was because it was the only medal for gallantry that they had at the time. There were no lesser medals like the silver or bronze star.
