Thank you for visiting the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home, website. We are a family owned, fourth generation, funeral home located on North College Street in the historic home of Asa Prior, the founder of Cedartown. We think you'll find your visit helpful, and hope you come back whenever we can be of service.
Services
An individual's funeral or memorial service represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one; the memories you have, the values they projected, and the accomplishments they achieved. The service also serves an important part of the grieving process. There is no typical service. Each family has its own special needs, customs, and traditions.
Staff members of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors. Being the third generation of Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home, Olin has spent his entire life learning the funeral home business.
Located on the corner of Wissahickon Avenue and North College Street the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is neighbor to First Baptist Church, First United Methodist Church and St. Bernadette Catholic Church. The funeral home is handicap accessible throughout and has adequate parking. It has porticos for protection from the weather for our families, guests and florists.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.

This funeral home was wonderful when Olin owned it, he was very empathetic and treated all families with respect and went over and beyond to make sure their needs were met. Bo, the son of Olin has now taken over and it's totally opposite. He only cares about money money money. He doesn't even pretend to be thoughtful. The staff is wonderful besides the owner, Bo. My family and I will take our business elsewhere.
