I am a father, grandfather, husband and a Christian. At age 10, I knew that I wanted to be an engineer, and followed that path by graduating from the University of New Hampshire, '63 with a BS Chemical Engineering. I have gone on with further studies in that profession and taken numerous continuing education courses.
My 37 years with the DuPont Company took me all over the world, and exposed me to many challenges which proved to be very rewarding. My primary focus was in the field of plastics, with much time spent with polymers such as nylon, acrylics, ethylene copolymers, acetals and others. I had assignments which included R&D, manufacturing, cost reduction, quality control, process safety, finance and sales and recycling.
