Services
All professionals at Augusta Pediatric Dentistry maintain the highest levels of accreditation and pursue ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in the medical field. Dr. Phillip H. Miller graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1973. He was in the first class that was accepted to the dental school.
Chrissy has been an administrative assistant with us for eleven years. She graduated with a degree in business management from Brenau University, and has certainly brought that valuable knowledge to bear in her time at our office. She has a vibrant energy and sincere compassion which makes the front desk a place where patients can feel comfortable and welcome.
For years it was believed that the best practice for a child's dental health was to schedule their first appointment after their third birthday. This simply isn't true! After years of study, it is now suggested that your child come in as early as one year old or when their first tooth comes in. Preventative dental care should be practiced as soon as possible to guarantee the best dental health for your infant.
Helping children understand how their teeth work and how to keep them healthy is key to lifelong dental health. While our staff helps educate you and your child about the ways they can avoid potential problems, we also perform routine procedures such as fluoride treatment and bonding. Here you can find these procedures and an explanation of how each helps your child maintain their dental health.
Some dental procedures are more comfortable for your child if sedation treatments are used. The two most common forms of sedation treatment are oral sedation and nitrous sedation. Our staff are trained in both forms, so they can use the method that will be most comfortable and beneficial for your child.

Dr. Miller and his staff have been phenomenal since our first visit. Today was our third visit, and we highly recommend them. It is easy to get an appointment, and you don't have long waiting times when you arrive for your appointments. The staff is very good with my anxious 5 year old child. She now enjoys going to the dentist! Dr. Miller has been in practice for many years, and his professionalism and knowledge come through in each conversation at the end of the visit. You can tell that he and his staff really care about their patients.

This practice is amazing! The staff is helpful, friendly, patient and accommodating. It’s always a positive experience for my kids and myself! I also love, love the idea of the option to continue with orthodontics in the same practice. I have been hunting a good pediatric dentist for years and this is the place!

Awesome staff, took my two boys and daughter first time and they were very professional and detail everything about my kids dental problems that need to be taking care of. Dr Phillip also took time to explain what he recommends for each kids. Very clear explanation about the pricing and are willing to work with you about it. This will be my kids dentist from now on.

Dr. Miller and the staff are always so sweet and kind. My daughter had her tooth pulled and when we got home she said mommy I like the dentist they are nice. They made her feel comfortable during the entire procedure. My oldest has had alot have work done and she is the same way. She loves going to Dr miller because everyone is kind and explains what is happening. She told me she loves that they help make her feel better and they are always so kind. We could never get the kids to let the dentist look at their teeth until we started here. Thank you all for caring.

Would give negative stars if possible. NOT a place for children with special needs. We took my nanny family for a check up. They let mom back with baby and little sister. Did not even tell her they were taking the boy (who has severe trauma, touch aversion, and can not communicate effectively through speech) back. The nurse grabbed his hand and he immediately froze, dragged his heels, whined. They told me "if he gets too fussy we'll get mom." By the time mom got back there, he was being held down by several people having a fit. Light was in his eyes and he tried to cover them with his hands. They

Today was our first visit. 1. I absolutely love the decorations and the home feel. 2. The staff were very sweet and you can tell the working atmosphere is really healthy. 3.The dentist was very personable and you could really tell he cares. I've had to change my child's dentist many times because they were not explaining things or doing what was best for my child. Today he explained everything! Took his time, drew diagrams and went into every detail where I could understand what was happening, without me asking. I really appreciate it because the dentist I had growing up was just like him. Dr. Miller went out of his way to help us out on his own time and before we were even patients. The entire staff helped my son(9) feel comfortable with the process. They also made sure I was comfortable with their procedures. They made sure to answer all of my questions and kept us informed throughout the procedure. They were pretty upfront about pricing and were pretty close on the estimate. My only real surprise was how happy we all were. Thank you all again for all of your help. 💜

The staff was so friendly and sweet! The Doctor was really good with my 2 year old daughter for her first time at the dentist! I would definitely recommend them! Their waiting area was super nice. They had a TV for the kids along with an arcade area. They took a picture of my daughter and made it into a magnet for her first visit! Definitely a great experience!

My daughter is a single mom of two and works nights. She was so tired that she overslept and was late from my grandson's appointment. My grandson is experiencing pain and they turned her away because their policy is if you miss your first appointment you can never go back there. I guess all the office workers there are perfect. I guess they have never been late to anywhere. Guess none of them there have ever been late to work. if so they should be told they cant come back. You people need to show a little compassion for people. You don't know what is going on in their lives and you have
