Ok, so Us is really not true. It is just me. My name is Derek Ferebee. I graduated from Troy State University, now just Troy University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Art in 1994. Since then, I have spent the last 24 years in the photography business. In addition to using my skills in photography, I have 20 plus years restoring old and damaged photographs.
Over the years I have restored over 13,000 photographs. I have owned and operated my own photography business as well as an online invitation company. Currently I am working as a photographer for a local real estate photography company. I have a passion for capturing the emotion and spirit of the occasion that you are celebrating, whether it is a wedding, birthday, special event or family portrait.

I have photographed weddings since 1996. Every wedding is different and your photographer should treat each one with special care and consideration. My experience has taught me how to balance the style the wedding couple wants with the technical details that make a photograph bring forth the emotion it should.

This truck and I have traveled around the country together learning about our great country. In the thousands of miles we have traveled, we have seen some great places, met some fantastic people and learned so much. Our first trip around the country resulted in our first book, Dodger Goes West. It was published in 2010 and explores the fascinating American West.
