Many of our clients wish for a respite from a busy day, a safe place for children to play, or maybe just a quiet spot to enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. The most used portion of the garden is that space just outside the door. In the design of a deck or patio, consideration should be given to size, location, material, access and balance of planting space.
Many of our clients wish for a respite from a busy day, a safe place for children to play, or maybe just a quiet spot to enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. Urban gardens offer another room, a place to commune with nature and a social gathering spot, within the city setting. Transform a dull, uninspiring and unproductive garden into an enjoyable extension of the home.
The home is a place for rest, relaxation and entertaining. A garden is the perfect place to demonstrate your hospitality. By creating a warm and inviting outdoor space, family and friends can enjoy time together all year round in our temperate Bay Area. Adding a cozy seating area, hot tub or fireplace are only a few ideas for creating the perfect entertaining space.

In the design of a deck or patio, consideration should be given to size, location, material, access and balance of planting space. These structures create an outside room and extension of your lifestyle. And just as inside a building, the variety of materials available provide many options for a wonderful destination.
Space for a play set, kicking a ball, growing vegetables, discovering funny bugs and having a barbeque await families in their gardens. Family- and child-friendly spaces offer a safe environment for children to explore, parents to relax and friends and family to be entertained. Create a backyard that is child-friendly and appealing to the entire family for the long term.

Janet Moyer landscaping replaced our front and back yards, which had lawns, with a beautiful water wise garden, with a dry creek bed, and a couple little fountains, a natural looking flagstone patio area, all set in redwood mulch and irrigated and lit. Their staff was very helpful throughout; the installation crew consisted of people who were knowledgeable about plants and irrigation and lighting, and collaborated well with us. They were very hard workers as well. We look forward to their continued maintenance of our new yard.
