The parking is not great .
A lot of sketchy and loud tenants.
There's constant cricket, earwig, roach and mice infections.
I wouldn't recommend it , especially for the prices for 40+ year old buildings with cheap " renovated " apartments. Maintenance may or may not fix your issues .
If you're not desperate for a place to live then I would apply elsewhere.

Look somewhere else! I have been living here for 6 months now. Apartments have roach and mice infestation. I have had to take matter into my own hands for exterminating because the office states they have an exterminator but no improvement of either.
Maintenance is non existent! Every time I have called the office they say we will put in your request and I don't see anything taken care of. Has been an ongoing issue upon moving here. At night I can here the mice in the wall squicking and scratching. All that comes to my mind is the movie Ratatouille.

Terrible customer service! I’ve been here since October and I want to move already. “Central Air conditioning” is including in rent however it’s currently 80 degrees in my apartment and the air has been on for 4 days straight. Calling the leasing office clearly doesn’t work because I’ve been doing that for over 2 weeks. Other than that the apartment space is okay, wouldn’t recommend this place though.

These apartments look extremely ran down and unkept. Please actually go and check the area out first. The pictures on the website are truly false advertisement. While I do know there are people who live on this community, the management people of this apartment should be ashamed. It looks very rundown, the pool looked disgustingly green. The landscape was unkept and there was trash everywhere. While I know every place can’t be perfect the appearance alone is unacceptable.

I had inquired about these apartments a few months ago... Was talking to the front desk ladies got all the info emailed to me & found out the qualifications prior to ( I was qualified ) ... soon as I emailed over my id & payed the app fee every thing changed.. Now all of a sudden I need a co signer who makes 5x’s the rent ( even though I make 3x’s the qualifying rent amount) ... I’m a grown woman & have lived at other places & have never needed a co signer... Needless to say.. I was approved for 3 other places.. & picked one & moved a couple months ago... I feel like I maybe dodged a bullet

Please weigh your options before considering this place. I’ve been at Dover Estates II for three months so far and as a military service member it has been nothing but an unpleasant experience. There is barely any parking for starters. The complex is loud. Cricket infestations. The hot water is very unreliable. Always a new fee on my rent payment. The list goes on. The staff is nice, but it can be a hit or miss. The apartment itself isn’t too bad, hence some “renovation”. I chose a two bedroom and it’s in a great price range (take into account there is NO in unit laundry). All-in-all

Applied for a studio, have a great paying state job, years of solid job experience at more than adequate pay, took quite a long time to get an answer from them. Denied, no reason given. Many questions about how I was paid, even though I provided 6 months of full bank statements. Many questions about whether I lived and worked in Dover, even though I provided my work address. Even emailed from my work email and offered to send a picture of my work badge. Have reference from the room I'm renting since moving here. Have school transcripts as a 4.0 gpa MBA student.
