Steve Makitra is the managing broker of Makitra Real Estate. He has been a licensed agent since 1987. He took over the reigns as managing broker in 1991 from his father, Steven Makitra Sr., who founded the company in 1972. Under Steve's leadership, the company has built a sound reputation as a trusted and reliable brokerage in the Southern Tier.
As a native New Yorker, and longtime resident of the southern tier, Tom has always had a passion for real estate and development. Tom got his first taste of the industry working for a real estate company who worked directly with buyers and developers of coastal properties in the southeastern United States.
