Ballou Company was founded by Tara Anderson in 2012 and named after her father, Mike Ballou. Mr. Ballou is a real estate investor himself, which inspired Tara to get into the industry at a very young age. We worked with Andy when we enlisted Ballou Company to help with the sale of our property in Orland.
From the very beginning, Andy was very responsive and answered all of our questions and follow up requests. If there was something he did not immediately know, he was quick to find out, and get back to us with the information. He was very effective in closing our deal and getting it to the finish line. There were complexities that came up, but Andy and his wife Tara, handled them effectively and efficiently.
Andy was very good about getting everyone up to speed on what was needed and expected

We have purchased several homes in our life time, but I must say our recent home purchase using the "Expert" services of the Ballou Company would have to be rated at the top of our list! Andy and his wife Tara Anderson provided exemplary and sincere customer service while maintaining extraordinary attention to detail and follow-up... Our home purchase involved some "extra" and "complicated" issues as we were purchasing through and for a trust, but Andy stuck with us and ALL the bumps in the process, right through to the end... From day one I knew I was in good hands with Tara. In the wrong season for selling a house on 40 acres for a very specific buyer, Tara's marketing brought in a slew of prospective buyers. Her knowledge of Butte Valley along with her widespread base of contacts was invaluable. I was shocked that we got into an escrow so quickly. There were many challenges with this sale and Tara kept me apprised every step of the way and always had my best interests at heart. Aside from her professional expertise, Tara is a wonderful person. I enjoyed working with her and would do so again in a heartbeat
