The Dayton Depot is the oldest surviving train depot in the state. It was originally built in 1881 and designed in the Stick/Eastlake style. It has been beautifully restored and is now a museum.

In the early 1800s, fur traders established a trading post and fort in the area. On Sept. 1, 1836, Marcus Whitman and his wife arrived in our region to build the Whitman Mission in an attempt to convert the local Walla Walla tribe to Christianity. The name Walla Walla is of Indian origin and means "many waters."

If you or anyone you know is looking for a home or property please check out TJ Espinoza. We were always coming from out of town to check out lots to build on or homes to buy sometimes without much notice. He always took the time out of his day to spend with us and knows so much about the area. TJ even walked us through an entire home on FaceTime so we could do a better look than just online. Very good at sending us the latest listings too. He also helped us find a new rental house that accepted our Goldendoodle during our transition time. My husband and I totally refer TJ for your next real estate
