Maxi's Chinese Restaurant is the first of its kind in the city of Marysville, and has been a part of the community since 1985. We consistently serve our guests great tasting food at a reasonable price in a fun, family-friendly atmosphere. Located in the northern part of Marysville, Snohomish County, WA.,O pened in 1984, our restaurant offers a combination of Cantonese and Szechuan Chinese cuisine in an enjoyable family atmosphere.

Our chefs have over 35 years of experience to assure your dining to be the best that it can be. The servers are experienced too, with a friendly and helpful mindset. I hadn't been to Maxi's for quite awhile since I moved back to the area. I had combination dinner #1. It was just as tasty as I remembered. So delicious! I'll be back.

I recently ordered dinner for my family, online. We were craving Chinese food so we thought we'd try out Maxi's restaurant. We ordered sweet & sour chicken with sauce on the side, Mongolian beef (medium spice), Maxi's fried rice, and soft noodle chow mein.
We were disappointed as soon as I opened the containers. The chicken was nothing like the pictures from past reviews...it was breaded, fried then sliced and I'm not even sure what cut it was, maybe thigh? It was very odd texture and most of it was not edible.
The Mongolian beef was a fair cut of meat and cooked well, but there was no spice

Omg this place was so nasty…. The food was dry no flavor and the meat tasted weird. I’m not one to go hating and write a bad review but this place had me so disappointed I definitely don’t recommend it and will never be going back

Wasn't impressed. Servings were very large of Chow mein, that was half the plate. The meat entree was tasty, but very small amount. In all fairness it might be more authentic than my favorite Panda Express. I just prefer their food. My companions enjoyed their food. They apparently eat there often.

My family has been eating here for years. Ate there 2 weeks ago. Ordered the combination appetizer sampler. It was awful. We were served with dirty plates and the food was not good. Never going back there again.

We did not have a good experience at all. Egg soup tasted like aluminum. Found hair in food. Almost all food me and my family ordered was not good at all. Will not be going back.

Tried many different Chinese food places and this one I gotta say is best, their hot and sour soup is like no other place, servers always friendly, meals are good size with extra on top. If your looking for a family friendly, home type good food. Hlyoi have to try it of your in the area.

Came in to order food to go and the service was great from the restaurant. Family loved the food. Tried to get a drink at the lounge but the bartender refused stating last call already. So we waited outside for our food, 20 minutes, watched the bartender continue to serve people at the bar.

Overall we had a good experience. Mostly all the items on the menu are family style. The egg Foo Yung is a really good vegetarian option and the gravy is quite yummy. The general tso chicken comes with a lot of crunchy and yummy vegetables. The. Medium spice option isn't spicy at all. Sweet and sour chicken is really good since it comes with pineapple pieces. The vegetable fried rice is average. We were sat immediately but it took a while for food to come out. Good service tho so we were okay with it :) . We come to this restaurant about once a month and service can be hit or miss

Overall the food was alright. My mom had to send her plate back as she requested no gravy and it had it on there. We had to ask several times for soy sauce, sweet and sour and hot mustard. We also didnt get our egg flower soup till our dinner was served. On the plaus side the soup was the best part. Very good flavor, nice and thick and just delicious.
I would like to note that the place was extremely busy and I do believe they were short handed because I noticed a couple signs posted looking for help.
