In our office we have focused our efforts on meeting your expectations and then superseding them. While traditional dentistry is focused mainly on dental hygiene and preventing oral disease, cosmetic dentistry is centered on improving the aesthetic appearance of a smile - whether it be whitening, straightening, or a full mouth reconstruction. Dr. Conaghan is one of the best cosmetic dentists in the Washington, DC, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac and Rockville areas.
Over time, your teeth naturally stain as minerals penetrate their outer enamel layer. Discoloration can be enhanced by foods and beverages that stain such as coffee, soda, tea, red wine and berries. Tobacco products, like cigarettes, cigars and chewing tobacco, also lead to a yellowish brown hue that is not very aesthetically pleasing to see.
Veneers create a wonderful cosmetic addition to your smile. They are made out of very thin shells of porcelain or plastic and they are bonded to your teeth. Veneers can improve the color, strength and the shape of your teeth. Having veneers placed does not automatically upgrade the quality of your dental health, they usually only cover the front and the top of your teeth.

Unprofessional and rude staff!! Stay away by all means
Update: This is not a spam. We called because we had questions in order to make an appointment. We never seen place like this in Bethesda which was absolutely outrages and absurd. You need to change your business and do something else. You also need to stop arguing over the social because it shows your real attitude. Nobody attacked you over social media but we placed honest and legit reviews. It just happened we were spending time with our family and friends when this call was made. We heard rude response over the phone and had to hung up

Just called because I was looking for a dentist for my son. The lady on the phone was nasty and rude. I can only imagine what's the rest of the staff's attitude. Please consider of taking your kids and yourself somewhere else. Awful

I and my friend called because we were looking for a dentist for our kids. Do not take your kids or anyone from your family member to this dentist. Rip off and rude!!!

I am new to this practice. The office is very professional, efficient and friendly. This is my first visit with Dr. Varney. He took the time on the examination and is very patient and professional. The office has signs that pledge honesty and integrity. I have some dental issues that need to be monitored so I have had dentists who have done or suggested works that weren't necessary. This office did not suggest extra cleaning or anything.
Based on my own experience and other reviews, I believe all of the dentists in the group are excellent. All in all, it was a very pleasant first visit.

What a blessing Dr. Corrigan has been to my husband and to me. He goes far beyond the call of duty in helping us in emergency situations, coming in on his day off or staying late when we need some help for the smiles he has helped to create with his great up-t0-the-minute skill, infinite patience, and some funny stories.

Dr. Varney was able to see me on short notice when my regular dentist didn't even return my calls. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything to me in a non rushed manner. He and the staff were even able to entertain my 4 year old. Based on that I went back to see him to get a filling replaced and I have to say it was the best filling I have had done. No pain. He was constantly checking on how I was doing. I found my new dentist. Highly recommend.

I have been seeing Dr. Varney for the past 6 months. He is by far the BEST Dentist I know. I will not be going to any other dentist. Actually the whole staff is AMAZING!! The front desk staff, and the dental assistants are so warm and compassionate. I am blown away everytime I'm there. If you are looking for a GREAT dental team, look know more, Dr. Stephen Varney office is were it's at!!!

I had a wonderful experience seeing Dr. Varney over the past year. I also bought a Groupon for Invisalign. Dr. Varney is super friendly and made me feel comfortable asking questions and describing my dental needs. He did an excellent job clearly explaining each step of the way during my Invisalign treatment. And for an extra plus, he has great musical taste and played some excellent Pandora stations in the office that helped make it an even nicer dental outing.

I recently bought a groupon for Invisalign which led me to Dr. Varney. I was a bit skeptical about buying a (very expensive) groupon for having my teeth fixed, so I called the office prior to purchasing it. Mandy was very helpful and quite patient with my many questions.
Since then I've seen Dr. Varney 3 times. He is a wonderful dentist and I plan to see him for regular dentistry when I have completed my invisalign treatment. I also have already passed his information on to friends.
