I’ve been a long time patient at Gentle Dentistry, but today I did not feel like they did they’re job. They normally make me feel comfortable, they actually read my chart before a cleaning and update it if necessary, and a doctor comes after to check the hygienist’s work. However, none of that was done today and I am disappointed.

Gentle Dentistry is the friendliest and most pleasant doctors office I have ever been to. My comfort is their goal. Dr Spector talks you through the procedures he is performing so you are well aware as he is working in your mouth.
The physical space is light and bright and airy and comfortable.

Like many people my age, I never quite got over my novocaine-free dental visits as a child. Put plainly, dental visits make me unhappy. Or at least they did. Gentle Dentistry more than lives up to its name. The office staff are kind and helpful and the dentists and hygienists are top notch. They explain what they are doing, check frequently to ensure you are comfortable and seem to be very much up to date on the latest techniques and equipment. They ask that you pay up front for the service, but they take care of billing the insurance company, and I have always received my refund promptly. I cannot

I don't really like going to the dentist. But they do a darn good job. I've been going here since before they were in Haworth (They were in Demarest about 10 or so years before), I was probably going here before I had braces! So to say the least, they know me and my family very well. Very personable and friendly and professional and get the job done, so for that 5 stars!
But I still don't like drills and sharp objects scraping at my teeth.
