Dr. Joe Botkin is proficient in a wide array of chiropractic techniques. He is certified in the Active Release Technique and Webster Technique for prenatal care. He also is a certified Foundation Training instructor. This broad background in chiropractic care gives Dr. Joe a unique perspective on how the body functions and heals.
There aren't a lot of things that are worse than when you experience one of those "ice pick in the head" type of headaches. The one where you can't function, can't see, can only find relief when you lay in bed in a dark room type of headache. We know the feeling. Dr. Joe grew up with these types of headaches and migraines.
Active release technique, otherwise known as ART, is a technique that focuses on non-invasive nerve and soft-tissue treatment. After just your first treatment, you will feel an immense reduction of pain and discomfort. This technique is one that not only eases your pain, but finds the root of the problem which makes for better treatment plans and quicker recovery.

The Edge Chiropractic Center is now pleased to offer the Denver area a comfortable and effective form of non-invasive spinal decompression. Unlike traditional spinal decompression, the Back on Trac system is specifically designed for lumbar spinal decompression in a comfortable reclined position. Spinal Decompression is a very effective way of gradually gaining relief as more and more sessions are completed.

From the beginning, Dr. Joe has been fantastic! I arrived in pretty bad shape after throwing out my back. The office is impeccably clean and he and his staff are super personable.
On our first visit he did a thorough examination and took some x-rays to help pinpoint multiple issues I was dealing with, and performed an initial adjustment.
On my next visit we discussed a treatment plan while reviewing my x-rays and exercises to perform at home to minimize the chance of relapses.
Within a couple of visits I was pain-free, but returned on a regular cadence to properly correct the deficient areas

Absolutely love my experience here. Wish I found Dr. Joe during my previous pregnancies, as he’s made this current one so much easier! He has me coming in LESS but feeling BETTER than the chiropractors I’ve seen before. I can tell he really knows what he’s doing and really cares about his patients. Cannot recommend him enough!

I began seeing Dr. Joe during my pregnancy when I was having debilitating back pain. Not only did Dr. Joe work with me in such a patient and calming way, but he made me feel well enough to return to work as a nurse. Since the birth of my child I’ve continued to see Dr Joe and I am amazed at my progress. I have less back pain than I did before my pregnancy, which even physical therapy didn’t help. I would recommend (and have recommended) him to everyone I know. He’s even adjusted my son when he was 3 days old :)

I was in pretty bad shape after a bad slip and fall accident and many of my friends and family are, chiropractors, unfortunately due to my hectic work schedule I couldn't go visit them and I chose to go see Dr. Joe instead. He is really skilled, knowledgeable, and thorough, a few brief sessions had me back in shape a lot faster than I would have thought. I highly recommend his practice if you want someone who really knows what they're doing. I have a high bar for chiropractic care and he was really great. Thanks Dr. Joe.

I’ve gone to a chiropractor most of my life for sports, neck and back pain and migraines. Dr. Joe is by far the best chiropractor I’ve gone to as far as talking you through exactly what he is doing, putting together a treatment plan that works for you, and making sure he’s setting you up for success going forward. I started feeling better after my first couple of visits and would 100% recommend him to anyone in need of a good chiropractor in the area!

I had never been to a chiropractor before Dr. Joe and he made sure I always felt comfortable with what he was doing and at ease. I now see him once a week and my back hasn’t felt this great since before having children! Always professional and beautiful clean new office. Highly recommend The Edge Chiropractic!
