Maureen has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1981 and is also a Continuing Education provider for Florida Massage Therapists.
CLASS SIZE NOTICE: All of our classes have minimum and maximum enrollments that can be accepted. If a class is getting close to being full, we may close online enrollment. If a class is closed online, you may still call us at 352-425-3700 to see if there are any additional spaces or to go on a waiting list.
A more superficial massage that improves blood and lymph circulation and relaxes you, also known as Swedish Massage. Deeper pressure is beneficial in releasing chronic muscle tension. The focus is on the deepest layers of muscle tissue, tendons and fascia (the protective layer surrounding muscles, bones and joints).
Run Your Own Business out of a Growing Massage & Wellness Center. Owner has been a licensed Massage Therapist since 1981 and is willing to mentor ambitious, enthusiastic Massage Therapist. Hands of Grace also has a movement and education room available for rent. Currently Yoga and Pilates are being offered in this room, however there are still days and times available.

My husband and I went yesterday. Place is amazing, such a nice atmosphere. They listen to you and take their time. I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Karen and my husband with Sharon. Both are excellent!!

I went in for a pregnancy massage during my first pregnancy. I came from an hour away because of a friends recommendation, and it was definitely worth it all the way. Karen took extra care to make sure I was completely comfortable, and was very thoughtful in explaining each step along the way. 10/10 would recommend for all expectant mommas. This massage is a great way to relax and relieve stress. As well as a wonderful way to pamper yourself before baby arrives.

I had such a wonderful massage with Karen! She is very knowledgeable and intuitive at the same time, she used multiple massage techniques to melt away tight spots in my tissue. Her hands are very gifted and I really loved how specific her strokes were and how she was able to release some chronic tension in my back, shoulders and arm. I also liked her calming personality and professional attitude! I highly recommend this place!

About 3 months ago, amid covid 19 lockdown. I went in for a deep tissue. After the massage I had a panic attack. Few days later my main massage therapist calls me to tell me the other massage therapist thought I was on drugs. I will never go back there. Completely unprofessional and violated my HIPPA rights. They tried everything to get me to… forgive them, but I can’t let this go unknown. Panic attacks are real and they happen to sensitive people who have been traumatized. If only most therapists knew how to handle mental health better, everything would balance. Karen you should know

I have been blessed to have many massages, many massage therapists from working on cruise line abroad and here. My regular therapist is not opening until after the 10th. Elaine was an great therapist fit me in… then listens and her skills and healing touch were appreciated. I did two detox ionic foot baths after( I recommend after)and felt a great bit better. The next day I felt I was on a healing continuum. Thank you and already recommended to a friend asking for someone.
