In the early 50's, Dr. Powell's mother developed polio from the polio shot. She was greatly helped by a Doctor of Chiropractic and wanted her son to help others by becoming a chiropractor. Now after over 50 years seeing so many regain and maintain health through natural methods, Dr. Powell continues to be inspired to provide state-of-the-art chiropractic care.

Dr. Powell graduated from National College of Chiropractic, Lombard, Illinois in 1970. He is a Diplomat in the International Board of Applied Kinesiology and selected as a Fellow in the American College of Chiropractors, FACC, as well as, the International College of Chiropractors, FICC. He is certified in Rehabilitative Exercises, from the University of Florida, College of Medicine, and the Department of Health and Human Performance.

First, I should state that of all my trips to this location or dealings with the few doctors I've had, customer service seems to be a top priority. The doctors seem to love what they do and for sure want to extend that love to helping you.
Secondly, the way in which veterans (and their families) is second to none. I literally mean that it is second to none, they render service to thank you for yours. I always recommend Powell to my friends and particularly Dr. Null, who is just a down to earth, good dude. I hope your experience is like mine but I think that should not be a problem.

Dr. Robert Powell has again helped me through a challenging time. I needed a second opinion regarding some tests performed by another physician. Dr. Robert took a great deal of time to review the prior test results and decided how to proceed. He performed his own analysis & clarified how my body was functioning. Dr. Robert's intervention & education has given me the "Best Me" I have been in as long as I can remember. Thank You Dr. Robert for your continual expertise on behalf of your patients !!!

Dr Jim Powell and his staff are phenomenal!!! Great care and attention for the patient. I’m on my second visit now and I’ve learned so much about my bodies natural ability to heal itself!! Wen in for a neck/ pinched nerve condition and was able to get on the traction table...... OMG!! The energy I’ve felt this week as Dr. Jim was able to release many of the bound up vertebrae and disc in my back. My metabolism is in overdrive!!!! So excited about feeling so good each day!!!!

Dr Jim and everyone was really nice and truly caring! My issues have been incredibly improved, and I feel so much better, after phase 1! Dr. Jim, Rene, Holly, Andrea & Melanie are so amazing and they instantly put me at ease, since it was my first Chiropractic experience! I highly recommend, and will be a patient for life!
