Rick has over twenty-five years of design and project engineering experience ranging from field surveyor to engineer of record on public parks, private land development, public works, and military projects. He has performed design and project management tasks for projects throughout California, with additional project experience in Hawaii, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, and Colorado.
Civil Engineer responsible for the site work associated with the BEQ Package 4 project. Project included 4 multi-story BEQ buildings on two sites at Camp Pendleton. The project required the creation of off-site parking lots to support the new building occupants. New water mains were designed to provide domestic needs and meet the fire demands.
The main campus included a new MARSOC West headquarters building, a Paraloft facility, Academic building, Armory, Motor T maintenance facility, and a supply warehouse. The site required over 100,000 cubic-yards of earthwork to create a balanced site - no import/export. A dual water loop was designed to provide domestic needs and meet the fire demands.
