I have a Bachelor of Fine Art and I always had the life long dream of being an artist. I have a long history with photography and gravitated towards documentary photography from the start. I am married to a wonderful supportive husband, and am Mom to three great children (one is a teen!) My parents live close by and our family is so grateful for Nana & BopBop!

Revisiting my review from 2 years ago because Jess just did another photo shoot for us: Jess did such an amazing job with our family photo session - just can't thank her enough for capturing our crazy, fun family (which can be a challenge since my little kiddos don't like to sit still or pose and smile for a camera). She has a fabulous presence with the kids and a great talent with the camera!

Jess was wonderful to work with for our birth photography! She was more than willing to meet with my husband and I multiple times to discuss our needs and concerns and went above and beyond to respect our wishes regarding privacy. As a birth photographer, she had all protocols in place, multiple backup plans, and amazing communication. She met us at the hospital the second we arrived, captured all our must-have photos (and more!), was conscious of allowing us to be in the moment without interfering, offered advice when the opportunity presented itself, and didn't leave until she checked in with

Jess is amazing! We recently had family and maternity photos taken by her at a nearby park. She really captured our son's personality in the photos and made us look good! When we showed our son the photos he wanted to "see Jess," so she made a lasting impression on him as well. :) She was wonderful to work with- and we highly recommend. We are planning to have her take newborn photos of our soon-to-arrive baby and we can't wait!

It was a pleasure to have Jess photograph our son Julian's birth. She has such a warm and calming presence as she works to capture the sweet, vulnerable moments around birth. The images she sent us so beautifully tell our story -- not only the story of our son Julian's birth, but also the story of our family, and our home, on the day he entered our world.

Jess made my daughter, Samantha feel like a real princess on her 4th birthday! We had a modest party at City Park near the kids playground and Jess did a great job making my DIY party look like a big spread (mom bonus!!). She stayed the whole time and even went above and beyond to take individual portraits of all of the children at the party. What I loved most was Jess' documentary style of capturing the party - all very natural and real - nothing posed unless we requested that. Jess herself is super relaxed, a great listener, and met all of my expectations and then some. Also, she's tireless!

Right before we moved from Denver we scheduled a quick session with Jess. It was fun but didn’t seem promising as the sun wasn’t participating and I didn’t think our daughter was either, boy did she want that camera! I was so impressed by the beauty and joy that Jess captured. She is nothing short of a magic woman, with a unique eye for those magical moments. I melt every time I see these images, she really captured our little lady in all her fun and beauty!
