I have never ever needed anything at Abio that was not given to me. I have never once lacked for a single thing that I needed in four full years here.
1 Interview real estate agents. Don't be afraid to ask lots of questions, including how well they know your target neighborhood, their fees and what services they offer beside negotiations and escrow. Also request references from past clients. 5 Request and review disclosures. When a property piques your interest, your agent can request the disclosures and review them with you.

My husband and I bought our first home in Oakland last summer (things have been hectic, so it took us a while to write a review). We worked with Linnette and she came through for us at every turn. We had what's considered a "limited budget" around here, but despite that, and despite being in the middle of covid, she worked hard to find us a home we could afford and that we considered a decent investment. We looked at many properties, got outbid on some (unsurprisingly), but she was always able to answer our millions of questions, schedule us with various inspections at the last-minute

Linnette Edwards is reliably unresponsive even when she is making commission on one of her few top grossing listings. She can't be bothered to turn off lights on the houses she is selling, so every light blazes into neighboring windows all night every night for weeks. She was well aware for a solid week that her staging crew stole from neighboring properties, yet did not respond with apologies or have any sense of compunction.
She just took her ill-gotten commission and left. And she will no doubt do it again.
Unresponsive, irresponsible, unethical. Who needs that for neighborhood karma

Linnette Edwards and Abio properties have a strong grasp on the market, and a dramatic edge over the numerous other agencies we already met with. The folks at Abio are strategic, have a passion for their work, are humble, persistent, knowledgeable, fresh and forthright. When it came to buying and selling in the same market we still managed to come out on top through all of their guidance, marketing our house appropriately, coaching us through all the logistics, negotiations, paperwork, and minutiae. It felt refreshing to be working with a partner we could trust and whom we knew had our best interests

Abio is amazing and I cannot recommend them highly enough. At the start of this year my grandmother passed away and we had to sell her house in Brentwood. Unfortunately she was both a hoarder and neglectful of the property. Nicole and Cameron helped my father and I through every step of the process. They brought in cleaners, handymen, painters, landscapers, stagers, and more to change the house from completely unlivable to beautiful and almost like new in a small number of weeks. Even when COVID hit in the middle of the process, they did everything they could within the bounds of the laws

Mariah Bradford is hands down one of the most ethical and stellar agents I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. The one star review from Work Hard leads me to believe it is someone attempting to sabotage her professionally that did not actually work with her. I know from experience Mariah's number one goal is the best interest of the people she is representing. During the process of selling my home she remained nothing short of professional at times others did not. If you have the opportunity to work with her do so. I can not recommend her enough!

Abio and their team of real estate professionals have consistently over delivered for our family! Linnette helped us buy our first home in the Montclair District - we were thrilled with the price, the location, the ease of the entire transaction, especially being first-time buyers. Fast forward 5 years, Linnette and her team helped us sell that same home at a generous profit all the while serving as a consultant to get maximum return. Within DAYS of selling our home, she helped find our next home in our dream location (Trail Neighborhood, in Lafayette). We have been extremely pleased with Abio

Very unprofessional. I was looking for a property in Oakland, met with one of the realtors from Abio (Sarka Sarkisian), she was very unprofessional, she did very little homework on the market, clearly just wanted to make a sale. I also sensed poor ethics with her so I walked away. In addition she was not responsive which I found astonishing for a cash buyer.
I would recommend a more established outfit, stay away from these kinds of unethical businesses.

The whole team at Abio was a dream to work with - we had an incredibly smooth closing process for the purchase of our first home. Took us a while to find the right place but due to the relentlessness of our agent Sarka, we wasted no time when we found the right spot and we've been blissfully living in it for the last year. The market knowledge was a huge leg up in this competitive market.

We (my husband and I) had a recent unpleasant experience with one of their agents (Mario Colon). He was a big disappointment, unprofessional and unresponsive and inconsiderate. By far the worse Real Estate agent that we ever experienced!
I was searching for properties in Sonoma on Trulia two Saturdays ago, found an interesting property and he's the listing agent. I looked him up on Trulia, he had multiple 5 stars reviews (DON'T BELIEVE IT, FAKE REVIEWS).
So I called him up and told him that we like to set up an appointment to view the property. He told me to text him on the date and

Working with Abio Properties and Sarka Sarkisian was an absolute privilege. As first time homebuyers expecting our first child and looking to make the move from SF to the East Bay, we had become pretty callused by the prices and competition we saw at nearly every open we liked. After having come close but ultimately losing on a few offers submitted through Redfin, we decided to work with Sarka. She is a pro's pro and steered us to a great house and away from one that ultimately went well above our potential budget. She worked with all the ancillary participants behind the scenes to make sure

Sarka helped me buy my first home and I am forever in her debt. She proved to me that she was more adept than other agents at the process of home-buying from beginning to end. Sarka is an excellent problem solver, quickly responsive, and a true people person. She listened to our wants and needs, she offered suggestions we hadn't considered, and made sure I was updated on every detail without prompting. Perhaps most importantly of all, Sarka was able to connect well with the seller's agent and make for a seamless negotiation and transaction. If you're trying to buy a home Sarka will

We bought our first home in December of 2016. Working with Sarka was an awesome experience. Our home search went much faster than we expected (three weeks from first open houses to going into contract) which meant that we had to move fast and make quick, confident decisions. Through it all, Sarka was there with great advice and a cool head whenever we hit a bump in the road. She negotiated some extras on our behalf and we felt really well taken care on. Buying a home in the Bay Area is notoriously hard but Sarka was an amazing guide.

We love Abio Properties! Our mortgage company works with hundreds of real estate agents, and everyone at Abio stands out. They are all tech-savvy, professional, charming and responsive, and they know their stuff. The founders, Cameron and Linnette, often mention how they go out of their way to make sure everyone on the Abio team is both friendly and a great personality fit, and it shows. We consider it a great privilege to be able to work with everyone at Abio.

Linnette Edwards with Abio Properties has been nothing short of amazing in all our business transactions we've had the fortune of working with her as buyers and sellers. Linnette and her team work so well together and nothing is missed, their communication flow is as quick as I've seen and their recommendations for how to prep, stage and market a place speak for themselves in the end results. Linnette and her team have sold 2 of our families' homes and when my family was a buyer in the market, she was the listing agent for our current house in Walnut Creek. She broke sales records
