Services
Dr. Kaiser is a 2003 graduate of Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been in practice in the Indianapolis area since graduation and joined Avalon in July of 2010. He enjoys the variety that general practice has to offer, especially surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. Dr. Kaiser lives in Indianapolis with his twin pugs Elsa and Sooki who both serve as the official greeters for the clinic.

Surgery Patients are to be dropped off between 7:45-8am on their scheduled surgery day. In order to reduce your waiting time, and allow our doctors and staff to have ample time with your pet, please schedule an appointment prior to each visit. If you have a doctor preference, please let our staff know when scheduling, otherwise, we will give you the first available appointment.

You guys were great. Some vets i have gone too in the past have padded the bill or tried to get me to buy their pricy insurance or pay for procedures not really necessary. We recently switched to Avalon from another vet because they are professional yet kind, and they always take time to talk to you and answer your questions. They also do a great job of explaining costs and trying to find the best way to treat your pet without incurring unnecessary costs. I’ve been so impressed with everyone at Avalon and am glad we switched.

Dr Kaiser and the staff are just the best. They have taken such good care of Buddy, even helping me figure out what he would need for a tooth extraction before I brought him home from the rescue. Traveling around the country and feeling nervous about seeing a new vet, these people are amazing! Just from checking in, I've always felt so welcome and appreciated. Amongst the vets I've seen for my cats and dogs I've never had a vet that has went above and beyond like Dr. Kaiser. Amongst meeting my pets, wether cat or dog, he has sat, given treats or catnip (depending on) and established trust w my pets. That's more than with any vet I've ever experienced. After visiting w him he has treated them both wonderfully and what I feel like he would treat his own animals alike

Dr. Kaiser is wonderful! I believed my cat Merlin had a UTI. I had called his regular vet and a dozen others when I called Avalon Animal Clinic this morning. Everyone was completely booked and no one could fit Merlin in. I was pretty sure we’d have to go to an emergency clinic. Dr. Kaiser answered the phone and amazingly he got us in! Luckily Merlin didn’t have any blockage and he should be just fine. We are very grateful and I will definitely keep Avalon in mind for the future!

They took such good care of my dog Lola I will be back the doctor was excellent and so is the nurse. She went for an eye infection so she had to get a cornea scan.. It was a little pricey because she got 3 separate medications but it was not expensive it was very affordable and they are very loving towards animals... The doctor he is awesome. The nurse were awesome to .l will return ... 5 🌟

We've recently switched here after a bad experience at our last vet. So far everything about Avalon has been positive. The vet is pretty awesome. He spends the first ten minutes on the floor just petting and talking to our dogs. Our dogs are nervous at the vets office & he does a great job with them. He spends times listening to us and explaining. We never feel rushed! Definitely would recommend.

Avalon has such a friendly and caring staff. It's a small clinic off north Shadeland Avenue. They have Saturday hours from 8 to 12 which is nice since I work during the week. Sunday they're closed. They do have a pet emergency line which is so nice. One night while on a walk my dog found a chicken bone and swallowed it before I could get it away from her. I called and they told me to have her ear bread and watch her closely. If I was to see any bleeding or throwing up later they said to take her in immediately. They were so helpful!

Just love the care my 2 rescues get here. Such tender loving care. They were pretty happy considering they were at the vets for a yearly checkup. Dr. Kaiser never made them get on the metal table they hate. They even took a treat from him and usually they only take treats from Mom and dad. Received a follow up call today regarding lab results. Excellent care!
