Went to Mt. Joy Dental since 2012 and the service was good. But as a non-dentist did not know much @ sealants for kids' teeth. Even adults can get them and they prevent 80% of cavities! But they need to be checked and redone. Apparently that wasn't done and now my daughter who got them at 14 now has 7 cavities at 18 because the sealants fell off and were never checked properly. She mostly got fluoride at this dentist, but sealants are superior. I also found this dentist did not have the best xray equipment for cancer screening. So we have changed dentists.

I got my teeth cleaned here for years. The longer I stayed with them the quicker I was in and out, which is fine if they did a good job. I finally went to a different dental office not even a month after getting my teeth cleaned to get another check up, all to find out they rushed through cleaning my teeth and there still was calculus which they said should DEFINITELY not be there only ONE month after cleaning. Obviously they get paid per patient if not why rush and not thoroughly check the patients teeth. Such a shame, dental offices should pay their dental hygienist per hour NOT PER PATIENT.
