Services
We have the most recent copies of AutoCad (w/GTX RasterCad) and Microstation (w/Descartes). We can work in vector mode or in hybrid mode. We can also manually or automatically convert existing raster files to AutoCad files. Our office is in Warrenville, IL (suburb of Chicago), but our engineers live in Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio and Rhode Island.
In these times of increased competition and deregulation, power plant owners are forced to reduce staff and, in some cases, separate from their parent utility companies. In either case, it can be difficult to maintain senior level electrical engineering talent in specialized areas. We have this talent, cultivated thru our many years of experience working on a wide variety of utility and power plant designs.
Performance Power Services has extensive experience in both small and large scale arc flash analysis. Using either SKM or ETAP we can model complete distribution systems from less than 10 buses to 1000 bus systems.
We have modeled and prepared reports and recommendations for numerous coal fired plants in Illinois and Pennsylvania, for small industrial facilities in Illinois and Pennsylvania, and for Argonne National Labs (entire medium voltage distribution system).

This experience gained through original plant design and ongoing operations support has allowed our staff to identify numerous ways to extend the life of equipment and in cases where replacements are appropriate, a streamlined engineering and procurement expertise.
