While visiting friends in Traverse City during the early 1980's Vicky and her husband Mike quickly fell in love with Leelanau County after spending a perfect summer day boating on West Grand Traverse Bay! Without hesitation they decided to leave their established careers in Ann Arbor and relocate their young family of 4 to Suttons Bay without first securing new employment.
This was a major life decision that they've never regretted! After graduating from The University of Michigan (Go Blue) Vicky worked for 25+ years as a Realtor(R) for numerous national real estate brokerages in Ann Arbor, Traverse City, and Suttons Bay before establishing her own brokerage Oltersdorf Realty in 2006.

Jonathan was an outstanding buyer's agent for us as we searched for a home in the Leelanau / Traverse area. We lived downstate and jonathan worked very hard to make sure every trip we made for a showing was worthwhile. Several times his research of a property uncovered something that saved us a trip. I also learned a lot from Jonathan about construction technology in the area, I was not familiar with such as wood foundations. I enjoyed looking at a home with Jonathan and I trust his judgement of home conditions. He is not overly optimistic about a home, just trying to make a sale. Instead he is

Jonathan is a true professional...he is very kind and so knowledgeable of the real estate market in the surrounding Traverse City area. He never rushed or pressured us in any way. He is very patient and completely understands how important it is to find the right home. We would highly recommend him! He definitely goes above and beyond! Jonathan Oltersdorf was very helpful in our search for a second home/summer rental in Leelanau. He was very knowledgeable about the local market.
