After a life long dream of living in Colorado, Dr. Scott and his family decided that it was time to make the move, and acquired Compass Chiropractic in Lafayette. Prior to the move he owned a thriving family practice, Vander Weit Chiropractic, in Illinois since January of 2007. One of his goals is to change the way people think about chiropractic care.
Dr. Scott has the pleasure of taking care of A LOT of little ones in the office and is working on his pediatric certification through the ICPA. Many parents with testify that since getting their kids adjusted on a regular basis they are sick less, happier, and are "tuned in" to life!
Adjustments differ from the typical adult adjustment, (kids adjustments are about the same pressure as testing a ripe tomato), but are just as important to keep their nervous system function at optimal level.Chiropractic care for children offers your family a solid foundation for wellness. La Leche League meetings are held here at the office on the FIRST Tuesday of month from 9:30 -11:00. La Leche League was founded to give information and encouragement, mainly through personal help, to all mothers who want to breastfeed their babies.

Dr. Scott is amazing!! He is very friendly And compassionate. He works on me, my husband who has really bad scoliosis, my autistic 5 year old, my two year old and my newborn. He is fantastic with all of us and my children love him. And Nikki at the front desk is very friendly and helpful!! My kids are always excited to go see Dr. Scott and Nikki.

Dr. Scott was great! I really appreciated the time he took to explain my current pain situation- gave me great ideas of things I could do at home to help as well. I have gone to other chiropractors that found me locked and used "force" to unlock. I very much appreciated Dr. Scotts approach of not "forcing" the joint to unlock. Instead used massage, manipulation to help "loosen" -then had me schedule back when it wouldn't be a "forced" adjustment. Front office very friendly and accommodating and happens to share the same name as me! :) Thank you!

Dr. Scott is wonderful! I appreciate that he takes time to really listen to what is going on and alters his approach to fit the ever changing needs of me and my family. With regular adjustments we have noticed better overall health, fewer illnesses and we can usually get in for an appointment day of or within a couple days.
