Sign up for one of our Summer Programs to help get your kids away from video games and keep them active, healthy, and disciplined ALL summer! Your child will have UNLIMITED access to ALL evening classes for ALL of June, July, and August! This program is designed to take your child from White Belt to Yellow Belt.

I worked for S.A Kids for only a few months as a driver and tutor at the Babcock location. This was around January of 2020.
I had to quit due to the things I saw. I think the most dangerous thing I experienced had to do with picking up the kids for the after school day care. Because there was often not enough seats to hold the kids the OWNER of the business wants me and other drivers to stack kids on top of each other in the van. This meant several children using the same seatbelt. This is CHILD ENDANGERMENT & IS ILLEGAL.
On too of that the vans were in terrible condition. One day when I

Highly recommend SA Kids Karate for your children and family. Sensei Dan and his staff do an amazing job registering, growing, nurturing, and training their students.
Sensei Dan has 25+ years studying and teaching karate. In fact, the bulk of his training took place in Japan as a child.
Sensei Crystal is also fabulous. She did an amazing job helping our young son (4 years old) acclimate to the class. He initially was shy and did not want to attend classes. And, when he did he was not vocal. Sensi Crystal and her staff nurtured his confidence and helped him grow over the past two years.

My children have been attending SA Kids Karate for the past 5 years and we are beyond grateful for Kyoshi Dan and all of the instructors. My children have gained self-confidence and have learned the value of respect. Their after school program is amazing and they even have virtual classes that parents can take advantage of. I highly recommend their program to anyone looking to help their child gain strength of character and confidence!

My children have attended SA Kids Karate in both evening classes and the after school program. I have been satisfied with the communication and organization. They make sure to post all communication clearly, they inform the students, and they give a courtesy call when tuition is due. The discipline is consistent and they do NOT allow the kids to misbehave. Kioshi Dan runs a tight show and he finds great sensei instructors. My kids never complain about the after school Karate, in fact they always beg to do the extra activities the school offers. The after school program has evolved the kids&apos

Our family had been calling a number of karate programs around the San Antonio area. We visited a couple and called many. This program by far was the best we have seen. The instructors focus on each student throughout the class. From day one they showed the importance of discipline and fun. The balance between the two is clearly displayed in every… class. We ultimately loved the family atmosphere we felt the moment we walked in the door.
We highly recommend this program to any parent wanting their young adults to gain self confidence focus and discipline.

We worked with the kids at SA Kids Karate for a couple hours a day on Tuesdays and Thursdays all summer, and I have to say that the kids there were some of the most disciplined I've seen. I was very impressed with how well, for example, 7- and 8-year-olds were able to listen and learn. Well done, SA Kids Karate!

Sensei Dan lived in Japan growing up and brings all those traditions to SA. He's achieved the highest rank black belt possible and continues to invest in his staff and their training. He's well networked into the martial arts community and brings in outside help and views. That stated he has a strong pedigree vs other schools where it's merely a 2nd degree black belt with a business degree.
