In 2016, Dr. Christine Leonard opened her dream practice in her hometown of Rockford. In practice since 2010, she sees patients of all ages and has a particular interest in pediatric and pregnancy Chiropractic. It's her passion to provide patients with alternative ways to get on a path to optimum healing and health, in turn enhancing their quality of life.
Chiropractic care is a natural and noninvasive way to access your nervous system through the spine. Doctors of Chiropractic work to correct spinal, pelvic and cranial misalignments (subluxations). When misaligned, these structures create an imbalance in surrounding muscles and ligaments. Additionally, the resulting nervous system stress may affect the body's ability to function optimally.

Whether you're seeking pain relief or better performance, we use a variety of techniques custom-tailored to the unique needs of each of our patients. If you are hesitant about having an adjustment, we are happy to provide low-force techniques. We also educate patients about the noise that they may hear during an adjustment: it's simply gas releasing from the joints and is a very safe normal thing to experience during an adjustment.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Leonard and the team at Healing Path of Rockford. The office is clean, they’re always on time, and everyone is so friendly. I started seeing her when I was pregnant and in a lot of pain. She was able to decrease my pain and help me function better for the remainder of my pregnancy. I’ve also gotten massages and they’ve been wonderful.
My newborn started seeing her and she recommended I get an evaluation for him because she thought he may have a tongue and lip tie. My son was diagnosed with several tethered tissues and we proceeded to have them released

My daughter was diagnosed with scoliosis two years ago when she was 8 years old. In that time (and even taking into account a three-month "pause" during COVID-19), both of her spinal curvatures have improved significantly under Dr. Leonard's chiropractic care and her guidance with regular stretching. My daughter started with an S-curve that was 18 degrees at the top and 17 degrees at the bottom. She is now at 12 degrees and 10 degrees. Both her pediatrician and a pediatric specialist had advised us to just "wait and see" and, if it got worse, they'd advise bracing or surgery. I am so glad I went

I just have to say how grateful I am for Dr. Leonard and her staff. I was rear-ended in my daughter’s small car this winter. As a result I suffered whiplash and lower back pain. My left shoulder into my neck and down my arm was messed up. I was hoping to rehab it myself but after a few frustrating weeks realized it was not going to happen. I had lost range of motion. And couldn’t do my normal routine, including working out. I had headaches stemming from my neck into the back of my head. At 56 I wasn’t ready to let this be my life. We have had a great experience with Dr. Leonard. I decided to bring my 8 month old son in to help with his neck issues. Dr. Leonard called me personally when I called asking about how she can help our son. She is very informative, kind and she has the value of helping others. We first starting going to Healing Path of Rockford for my son at seven months due to torticollis and constipation. He went from scooting to crawling after a short week of treatment. Now he is four years old still getting adjusted so he can move better, and it helps with his constant growth. Due to her helping our son, my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Leonard the last two years. We love the care plan of adjustments, massages by Melissa, and acupuncture as well!
