I called Dollar Plumbing on Sunday afternoon (of Labor Day weekend) for an emergency job I needed completing asap. I was surprised that the phone was answered quickly and the person assisting me with an appointment was very friendly and able to get me in the next morning at 7am. The plumber came out and fixed my broken pipe.

Dollar Plumbing totally took care of us! Al and Kevin were here within the time slot scheduled, had a solution for our garbage disposal issue, installed a new disposal, and completed the job within a few hours. He was clean and efficient. He will be our plumber from here on out. Next it is time to replace our water heater, and Dollar Plumbing will be doing the work. I would absolutely recommend Dollar Plumbing! We had a plumbing emergency at 9:30 pm and it couldn't wait till morning. We called three companies and Dollar Plumbing was the only one who was willing/ able to come out. They said they'd be over in about an hour and someone showed up in 20 min! It was great! The gentleman that came was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He fixed the problem right away and gave suggestions on how we could avoid the issue in the future. We will be calling them in the future for both emergencies and non emergencies. Very pleased with the response

I highly recommend Al and his young apprentice. Al has been helping me out with plumbing issues on a home that I had just bought. I am on a time crunch because we are in the process of moving in. He has been responsive and quick in action. I trust this mans expertise. He is a honest handworker. Have him do your work!

Al arrived quickly, explained everything right up front, proceeded to snake our drain, being thorough and snaking 40 feet out to be sure all was clear in our line. Al was clean cut, friendly, helpful, and obviously enjoys helping people who have plumbing needs. I will call Dollar Plumbing for any future plumbing needs. Thanks Al!

I had an issue with the washing machine discharge pipe at our rental home. I called a plumber and although they had great Yelp ratings, the service was very opposite of the ratings and the fee was on the high side. Ultimately the work was useless because the problem was still present.
Once again I searched for another plumber and I received assistance from Dollar Plumbing. I was able to get an appointment within a few days as opposed to weeks. The pricing was fair and upfront so I wasn't shocked when presented with my bill. They did a great job and the line was cleared.

Kitchen sink was backed up and none of the "normal" remedies were working. I followed advice of my fellow Yelpers and called Dollar Plumbing.
I left a message and had a return call within 30 minutes (on a Saturday!) and an offer to come out within the hour. I had to run an errand so asked about afternoon and was given a window from 2-3 pm. Al drove up a few minutes early and then came to the door promptly at 2 pm.
He assessed the situation, gave me an estimate which I agreed to, and then took care of the clog with his roto machine in an hour's time.

These guys do great work and are really friendly and easy to work with. We've used them twice now on various clogged drains, toilet issues, shower problems, etc. Had them over a couple days before Christmas 2020 right during the holiday rush with family to repair toilet problems. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing services!

Al and his assistant are not only good people, they are Local, (Livermore), knowledgeable, affordable and willing to go the extra mile.
The first experience I had they actually worked outside in the rain replacing my main water shut off valve.
Last week was the second time. They re-arranged time for my job around their already busy day.
When I have another plumbing need, I will call Dollar Plumbing. You should too.

Dollar has done work for me before and it has been a life-saver, but this time they kind of missed the mark.
The rep who came was very nice and courteous. He evaluated the leak I had dug up prior to his arrival. It was cast iron and while we could see one end, we could not see the other. We could not find a shut-off as well. His evaluation was that the pipe could go on for quite a while and that he would pass on the job.
The next guy that showed up dug for about a foot and found the other connection, cut and capped the pipe and our water was back on!
Dollar can be good - but this time
