We started taking my kids here about 6 months ago after coming from a different office where they force you to vaccinate your kids. Luckily doctors at this clinic allow the parent to make the decision regarding bacteria youre putting into your child and while they suggest you a certain vaccination schedule they don't pressure you and were so thankful for that. Also we didn't have to wait for more than 15 minutes. Which is still annoying when your kids are both under 2 but it's not unbearable like some people have experienced I guess.

I'm thinking about removing my child from here and going to a different pediatrician. It just doesn't seem very clean anymore and I've always been bothered by the fact that at 3 months after having my baby the doctor who is overweight himself commented that my husband was thin and that I was not. This place used to be great. As of this year it’s gone down the tubes. Wait times have exceeded 2 hours. Not only is that unreasonable but for a newborn that is absolutely disrespectful of a new mother and the baby.
The nurses hang out in their area, drinking their starbucks and talking about their personal social lives, when I go ask if they even know I am here (I had been in the room 30 mins) they give me a look as if I am interrupting a meeting and they respond with attitude. This place is always dirty and run down. We have visited twice, and it was the same each time. The first time we visited was in January after moving to Boca and following the recommendation from our Realtor. I can't imagine she ever actually took her child there. It is dark and dirty, and this time there were even bugs crawling around. It should be shut down. The nurses and practitioners were friendly both times, but that doesn't make up for the fact that a medical facility is so poorly taken care of. We've been going to this practice for the last 20 years since our three little rascals were just newborns now, 12, 13 and almost 20. Dr Luchtan has not only been the greatest to our kids but also a great friend. I can not even give one start. I am so disappointed at this practice. My son has been going there for over a year time. On Monday July 12th I went for a sick Visit. My son had been coughing and I knew that I was going to need the proper documentation for school. The check ups are less than 10 minutes. I kept on telling the doctor or nurse (dont really know since they didn’t ven introduced themselves ) that I had a feeling that my son wasnt well and that it wasn’t just a cold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking there was a reason for them being late but once I went on Yelp and read reviews, I realized this was the office culture.
We came during lunch. There are multiple complaints about not honoring appointments and it now makes sense. I asked 3 employees why they were late. One of the ladies was very sweet. She check on it and get back to me but the rest didn't.
Lack of respect for professionals who run businesses.
The officer manager came up to me to address it and said this is normal

AVOID THIS OFFICE! You will always, ALWAYS wait at least an hour past your appt time to see the doctor. I have been taking my boys here for a year now and it's always a bad experience. This time was the last time we will go here. The rooms are very small. I've never seen an office like this. It is impossible for my husband, myself, my toddler and my infant to be in the room with the doctor. Although I like Dr Levy, their staff are yet to be desired. They don't honor appointment times. You will have to wait an hour for sick kids no matter if you make an appointment. They don't honor appointment times. So if you would like to be continually frustrated, this is the practice for you. Good luck!

Mediocre practice. Went there when our first pediatrician retired. Always a wait, usually an hour. ALWAYS! I asked for the "well" waiting room. One waiting room, sick or not. My daughter loved Dr Armada, so did I. But not always guaranteed to get her. No courtesy of returned calls. Amy Armada - please get into a better practice. You deserve it. Would be embarrassed to recommend.

Some of these reviews are striking. I left Pediatric Associates because of the long wait times, and I definitely do not experience the same here. We've been taking our kids here for about a year, and every visit has been fantastic. Liz, their NP, is so good with kids. My daughter loves her. Dr. Armada and Dr. Levy are fantastic. As far as the wait times go... it's a pediatrician's office. Kids don't go back there, sit down, and always cooperate. It does take some time, it always will. I waited yesterday for MAYBE 15 minutes. But you need to be prepared for that; bring some snacks

I love them! Ive been going to them since i was pregnant with my 6 year old and Dr Luchtan is the best! I feel fully confident putting my kids health in their hands and best of all they are open 8 days a week and holidays! You always get to see a Dr since there are multiple quality doctors they keep on staff even if your preferred one isnt available.

I love this place. I was a patient here and I came here when my two kids were born. I feel I can trust the doctors and staff. They are very hands on. I absolutely love everyone here. We have a very long relationship with Dr. Luchtan, Dr. Armada and Dr. Levy. They wait is long but I feel it's worth it when you have doctors that take their time with their patients.

Surprised at others reviews but it's a matter of preference....Yes we have had to wait as well in the past but it's a pediatric office.
The staff is wonderful. I've used every doctor when kids are sick and see my main dr only if there is major concern and on their yearly visits.

It doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not. Always is an hour waiting in the waiting room, and then they call you in. You think that a doctor will see you now, nope, you go to the room and wait no less than 45 minutes up to 90 minutrs every single time. If you decide to come here make at less 2 to 3 hours room.

I have three kids in this group. I actually like the doctors and the staff. ...that said, on average I wait 1 hr just to get out of the waiting room and into an exam room. Tonight was a 2 hr wait...just in the waiting room. Wouldn't have been so bad if they had not seen people who came in after me...the last three visits in a row. Maybe they just don't like me. In truth they are VERY VERY busy and the staff stays late and tries hard! But it may be time to take my business elsewhere.

In a way, I'm glad that others had a better experience than we had. I took my 8 year old daughter as a walk-in patient because she is constantly complaing about headaches. I wasn't expecting to be seen immediately, or by the same doctor that we always see because it was clear that there was not appointment preset. Today my daughter has been with a high fever and I didn't know how much of a dosage of Motrin to give her and debating on taking her to the hospital. I called Boca pediatrics were she gets her checkups by Dr.Beckerman . I left a message on their on call answering machine and within 5 mins I received a call from one of the doctors and helped me with all my questions and suggestions on what to do . I have been going here for four years. The recent changes have made this one of the worst doctors offices I have ever been to. It is so sad that now due to unreasonable office staff I have to change doctors. I can't even get a doctor on the phone when I asked they would disconnect you.
