Tanya is fantastic to work with from start to finish. She is transparent about her process and pricing, incredibly warm and welcoming, and made the photography process, which can be exhausting, as relaxed as possible. We worked with her 3 years ago after the birth of our first child and were lucky enough to work with her again recently for our newborn. If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend working with her!

We scheduled maternity and newborn photo sessions with Tanya and we are impressed by her photography and her professional yet amicable conduct. Due to pandemic, she conducted the sessions at her place and not at the studio. She was accommodating with the dates, took our suggestions into account during photo shoot and gave us ample time. She handled our baby boy very carefully and kept him entertained throughout the session. She was patient for him to give the pose we wanted in our pics. I would highly recommend Tanya for newborn and maternity photo shoots.

Tanya takes the most beautiful pictures and I have been a huge fan of her work for a few years now. So when I wanted to celebrate my anniversary with a family photoshoot, I knew Tanya was the only one who would capture our family's essence. She was simply amazing from picking the perfect location, to keeping my 6 year old son engaged and excited to take pictures, and directing us beautifully. Tanya is very friendly to children.
She has gotten wonderful photos of my children that we will never be able to take by ourselves!
I do feel the price is on expensive side but these photos are so priceless. My photos and her service worth the price!

I am so pleased with my experience with Tanya. From the initial booking to the actual photo shoot to the post-shoot process it was easy and enjoyable. She was quick to reply and able to schedule me right away at a time convenient to me. The photo shoot was relaxing and fun - she did not rush us. She was great with the baby and put mom and dad at ease. She had adorable props and was very professional. After the shoot she got the photos to us very quickly (in time for the holidays!) and it was easy to order prints. Oh - and the photos came out beautifully!! I would recommend Tanya to anyone.

The first thing I noticed when Tanya welcomed us to our session was her t shirt "baby whisperer" - and it turned out that she truly is just that! She provided a calm and soothing atmosphere in her studio and was incredibly patient, even when it took my newborn 1.5h from our arrival to fall asleep. All her work reflects her passion for newborn photography and while I thought the pictures on her website may just be some of her best - our pictures truly turned out just as perfectly! I wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Tanya is wonderful! We are soo happy with the pictures she took of our newborn. Our daughter was 5.5 months old & it was her first photo shoot. Right from the time Tanya saw our little one, she started playing with her, making her feel comfortable. Throughout the photo shoot, she did her best to make our daughter smile and giggle & it all worked!!

Tanya is amazing! We booked her for a newborn session. Super professional and easy to work with. She was so patient with the baby and took her time to make sure all shots were set up carefully. We asked her to incorporate instruments and records into the photos and she did an amazing job creating fantastic photos with the props. 10/10! Boy am I glad that I listened to these reviews on Yelp and hired Tanya to do my son's newborn session. First of all, she was extremely flexible as I had to reschedule our session the day before since I was unexpectedly in the hospital. She came to my apartment with bags of awesome props including wraps, blankets, and baskets. Like others have mentioned, Tanya truly is the baby whisperer. It took my son hours to calm down/fall asleep and Tanya truly had the patience of a saint as she did various things to get him to settle. Just had our newborn pics taken with Tanya, and it was a fantastic experience.
She was so kind and patient with our baby - who refused to go to sleep! She just waited, rocked him, played white noise, and gently soothed him.
She has a changing table in her studio, and keeps the studio super warm for the baby's comfort - be prepared and dress accordingly! She had so many great fabrics, blankets, baskets, and the most adorable tiny bed to pose the baby with.
We will definitely be back for his 6 month and 1 year old pictures.

Best decision I've made in my foggy postpartum period was to contact Tanya! I did a newborn session with Tanya when my little boy was 18 days old - he was quite active for his age and we had to spend a lot of time waiting for him to fall asleep - I was a stressed first time mom yet Tanya was ultra patient with him and I felt at ease. Pictures were absolutely beautiful and I am so glad that I decided to venture out to Jersey City all the way from Upper Manhattan. I had to move across the country afterwards, so I'm really sad she cannot take his 3 months picture!
