Anchorage is a home-rule class city within Louisville Metro in the northeast corner of Jefferson County. The city's land was part of a land grant owned by Issac Hite in 1773, awarded to Hite and others of the Virginia Militia for their service in the French-Indian War.
The name itself came from The Anchorage, an estate owned by riverboat captain and early resident James W. Goslee; the name was bestowed upon the city when it was incorporated by the Kentucky general assembly in 1878, three years after Goslee's passing.New residents moving to Anchorage will love the city's small size, access to shops, dining, and entertainment in the surrounding area, and the overall historic character.

I worked with Vicky Taube on the purchase of my first home, and she was absolutely fantastic. From the start, she was very personable and made it a point to understand what it was I needed and wanted out of home. I never felt that she pushed me in any direction, and her advice and feedback was always open and honest. I appreciated her candidness throughout the entire process, and I felt that she made sure that I was fully informed and prepared for the investment. I always felt like she had my back and genuinely cared about me as a customer. I would highly recommend Vicky and Finish Line Realty

This was the second time that my wife and I have worked with Scott, and we would whole heartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor. Scott was a valuable partner in assessing the market, when making our decision to sell. The timing was perfect, and Scott had an offer within days. We feel we had a quick offer due to the guidance Scott provided on getting our home ready to show. He brought in a professional photographer and the online posting photos were amazing. Scott's market knowledge was spot on for pricing our property and selecting a date to list showed in an accepted offer in just

My wife and I worked with Scott at Finish Line when selling our two homes and then buying our new (to us) home. Every step was thoroughly explained and all of the items handled by Finish Line went smoothly. Scott has a wealth of knowledge that is incredibly valuable when dealing with buying and selling homes and it showed on multiple occasions through our adventures together. Thanks so much and (while we hope it will be a while) look forward to working with you again in the future!

My husband and I have worked with Scott for many years. He has always gone above and beyond in all our dealings with him. He helped us get a phenomenal price on the current house we're in now. I've worked with many realtors that have tried to push houses we aren't interested on us, but Scott takes the time to listen and ultimately doesn't pressure us into something we wouldn't want. He's very knowledgeable about the buying/selling process and we've learned a lot throughout the years. Just recently, we learned that by increasing the size of bedrooms in the house, we also need to increase the septic
