Katrina is a professional massage therapist in Bend, Oregon and owner of Bend Alpenglow Massage. She has called Bend her home since 1998. Her unique approach to massage blends Ashiatsu with Neuromuscular Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release techniques. Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, Aromatherapy, and Swedish relaxation techniques are also available.

Ashiatsu Report

Ashiatsu involves the massage therapist using their clean, bare feet, to apply broad, firm pressure on muscle groups. The broadness of the foot makes it much more comfortable to receive firm pressure and deep tissue when compared to a forearm or elbow. The pressure can easily be modulated depending on the clients preference.

Fantastic massage. Katrina was professional, insightful, and skilled at her art of massage. She explained to me exactly what muscle groups she would be targeting during my massage using a chart to show me and I walked away feeling amazing.

I was scheduled for shoulder surgery before Katrina worked on me and i was able to cancel the surgery when she release the muscles amazing. She may not be a magician but what she did for me was magic.
