I first obtained my real estate license in 1982. I started just before the interest rates hit 15%, and they went UP from there. With the help of a great title agent I designed a program to take mobile homes in on trade and began a journey selling and building a house every other month for five years.
As a major city within the Nez Perce Indian Reservation, Orofino is near the historic "Canoe Camp" where explorers led by Lewis and Clark built new canoes before traveling downstream to the Pacific Ocean in 1805. Originally named Oro Fino, in reference to a gold mining camp near town, the town of Orofino was established in 1896 after the Nez Perce Reservation was opened to non-tribal settlement.

In our markets and with our property types, simply putting a for sale sign in the yard, having a local website and doing local marketing is not enough to maximize your opportunity for a quick and successful sale.

Teena Poxleitner was our real estate agent for the purchase of our Grangeville home in 2020. She had shown us several places and we appreciated her level of expertise and awareness of what was available in the area. She was very good about discussing advantages and disadvantages of each place. Our closing was professional and straightforward. Teena has knowledge of area prices and knows details of evaluating and purchasing real estate. We would recommend Teena and her agency to anyone seeking a home and/or property in this area.

Poor communication and response to our realtor.
Allowed seller to violate contract by having property removed that was agreed to be left in the house. Realtor's employee had the property and simply had it left in the front yard, not returning it to its proper location in the house.
Edit: And they are less than truthful. The freezer was in fine, working condition and had been purchased by this realtor's employee and removed from the house though, per agreed contract, was to be included in the sale. This freezer was present during the time the house was listed, and not listed in items excluded
