Services
With this option, there is a visitation (calling hours) held at our funeral home in advance of the burial. A visitation is when the body is laid out in the casket (which may be open or closed) at the funeral home so that family and friends may pay their respects and say goodbye to the deceased. Just as important, the visitation can be a time for family and friends to meet and console each other prior to arriving at the cemetery.
The minimal services necessary to cremate a decedent and return the cremated remains to the family. No embalming is required. Since there is no public event, such as a viewing or funeral service, where the body will be seen by family members and guests; there is no need for extensive body preparations.
This section contains current & past obituaries, our Wall Of Honor as well as who to contact to send flowers. We understand that it is not always possible to attend a service or visitation in person, so we encourage you to use our interactive online obituaries to pay your respects. Leave a condolence, share a memory, post a photo, light a candle and more!

On the morning of July 7th 2020, I received a phone call I was dreading, but expected. Hospice called to inform me my mother had passed away that morning. She had pre-planned her needs with a mortician in Niagara Falls, but, the mortician himself derailed things, leaving me to look for an alternate mortician. Castiglia was a provider I picked out of the phone book at random to be honest, John was the first person I spoke with, I explained the situation, and how, at this point time was of the essence, as my mother has passed approximately 12 hours ago, and the hospice had no morgue facilities.
