Services
Sunset Vista Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory was established in 1985 in the Foothills of Yuma, Arizona and quickly became a pillar in the community we serve. We have cultivated deep and meaningful roots with our Veteran's and their families by offering a Veteran's Section in our cemetery dedicated to those who have served our country.
Licensed funeral directors are intimately familiar with the funeral planning process and the decisions a grieving family must make. Funeral directors have the knowledge and experience to help families understand the options available to them, to explain the value of different product features and to help create highly personalized, meaningful tributes.
Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of pre-planning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements.
Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. Funeral arrangements are a deeply personal choice.
Most of us are not prepared to plan and carry out a funeral ceremony for someone we love. And so much of the information available on this critically important subject fails to focus on what is most important: having a personalized, meaningful funeral that helps families and friends begin the healing process of mourning after the death of someone we love.

Cesar Dominguez, owner of Sunset Vista Funeral Home, and his staff were so wonderful to have during such a difficult time for our family. They made the funeral arrangement process so effortless. Cesar came through for us with such short notice and met all of our expectations, and for that we are eternally grateful.

I can't thank these people enough for the extra efforts they gave me when I had my mother cremated and had to take the ashes to California. Time was very tight as I flew in from England to take care of my mothers affairs as her only living child. Ricardo Andrade and the other staff did their best to help me get the death certificates quickly and other paperwork I needed to accomplish what I needed to get done before I could fly back to England. I couldn't be happier with their service and their friendly demeanor throughout this extremely sad time for me.

I would not even give this funeral home a 1 star rating if I was not forced to do so in order to post a review. I have experienced several deaths during my lifespan and dealt with numerous funeral homes. Sunset wins hands down for employing the most, unprofessional, uncompassionate, and downright rude employees I have ever encountered! I was, and still, am appalled at how these people treated our family when our mother passed away, it was disgraceful. Even now, four months later, when I've had to contact them in regards to another matter, they are still curt. Please save yourself much heartache

I brought my mother home today with the help of hospice to keep her comfortable. With arrangements needing to be made we called yesterday to get information to be told someone would call us back. Today a 2nd call was made to Sunset. 20 years ago when my father passed Sunset handled but my how times have changed. As emotions run high you would think the director of this establishment would be a compassionate and caring representative for Sunset. Well after being told they called back over and over advised they did not want to help us. I would not want a place that treats people as such in their
