Jim Rydman started Newcastle Construction Company in 1987 after 10 years in the construction business doing remodeling and fire reconstruction work. He also had a small cabinet making shop focusing on his passion for custom cabinet making and custom interior and remodeling. Jim realized he had an eye for design and enjoyed working with home owners to build beautiful custom kitchens, bathrooms, room additions, and entertainment centers.

When we updated our kitchen, Jim and Al helped install new drawer slides, replace our cabinet hinges from outside hinges to the ones inside the cabinet, and install new cabinet hardware. Jim recommended the slow close hinges and slides and we love them. They also did some drywall repair that needed to be done after our granite counter tops were installed.
