I am incredibly happy to be a mom, and I love my children more than anything, but I feel so low. I can't seem to muster up the energy I know they need from me. I am committed to helping women in all stages of life create space for healing and health. A holistic approach using both yoga and therapeutic tools is most effective when dealing with low mood, negative thought patterns, and anxiety.
How can I get past this awful thing that has happened? I don't want to burden my friends anymore. - Anxious thoughts, insides in knots, and feeling totally alone. I've been with people in their deepest grief, their most vulnerable state of anxiousness and depression, and can hold the therapy space as a place for comfort, safety, and hope.
I will regard you positively, no matter what you tell me. I will express empathy to you, because, like hope, I have wells of it. No matter how you show up to therapy I will express these core elements. This is how I expect and hope to be treated when I am in therapy, so I extend the same to my clients.

As a holistic psychotherapist, I'll look for not only the disharmony, but also the harmony - what's working already to bring balance to your life.
Losing a loved one, no matter how, when, or under what circumstances, causes grief. Grief can look vastly different from person to person while still being considered normal and expected. Most people who are grieving likely won't need or want professional counseling because healing from grief is a natural process.
