Dr. Strickland graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond with a degree in Biology before moving on to Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland to earn his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He has been serving in private practice since 1990, and has been repeatedly recognized by his peers as one of the best dentists in the DC area.

Dr Strickland was recommended by a friend of mine. I had some doubts about what my dentist and the decisions he was making about my treatment, so I decided to go to Dr. Strickland for a second opinion. The minute I walked in I knew it was going to be a completely different experience. The waiting area looked beautiful and felt like I was sitting in someone's living room. The ladies at the front desk were great and made me feel welcomed. The thing that stood out the most was that there was no dentist office smell, which is usually what makes the nerves kick in when I step into a dentist office

AMAZING!!!!!! A coworker of mine referred me to Dr Strickland due to the fact that I didn't have confidence in my current dentist and have been dealing with tooth pain the last few weeks with no resolution. Finally made the appointment with Dr Strickland this morning to have my tooth evaluated. Due to his high tech equipment he was able to evaluate and come up with different solutions with out wasting time.

OMGOSH!!!! The staff was very attentive and friendly. They took very care of me and my situation. The overall atmosphere was very zen. Dr. Strickland was amazing! very informational and he explained everything down to the detail. They have the coolest technology !! they have a tv screen above the chair which allows you to see scans and real time photos of your teeth. AWESOME-TASTIC!!!!! THANKS AGAIN

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am a person with true phobia about dental visits. After several terrible experiences it was all I could do to make an appointment to see a dentist much less keep it. That all changed when a trusted friend told me to see Dr Strickland. He and his staff have a wonderful way of putting you at ease no matter how nervous you are.
He has a wonderful chair side manner that informs you as well as calms you. The hygienist is excellent as well, She does a great job and has a gentle touch.
