Thank you for choosing our practice for your oral health needs. We look forward to meeting you and will strive to make each visit to our office a pleasant experience. The doctor will inform you of any dental disease that he diagnoses, and of the recommended treatments necessary to restore your teeth to excellent dental health.
For more information concerning pediatric dentistry, please visit the website for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. The pediatric dentist has an extra two to three years of specialized training after dental school, and is dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy through the teenage years.
For more information concerning dentistry, please visit the website for the American Dental Association. The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends visits to the dentist at least once every six months for a professional exam and cleaning. Regular dental visits are necessary for the maintenance of healthy gums and teeth.
The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends an orthodontic screening for children by the age of 7 years. At age 7 the teeth and jaws are developed enough so that the dentist or orthodontist can see if there will be any serious bite problems in the future. Most of the time treatment is not necessary at age 7, but it gives the parents and dentist time to watch the development of the patient and decide on the best mode of treatment.
If the procedure was in the lower jaw the tongue, teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. If the procedure was in the upper jaw the teeth, lip and surrounding tissue will be numb or asleep. Often, children do not understand the effects of local anesthesia, and may chew, scratch, suck, or play with the numb lip, tongue, or cheek.

I have left multiple messages and I've sent several emails about scheduling an appointment, wanting to become a new patient. No one ever returned my calls or replied to my emails. If you're not accepting new patients, that's fine but let someone inquiring about an appointment know these things....or get properly trained so you know how to do your job correctly.

A+. I really enjoyed this dental visit. I received a well-performed cleaning and thorough dental exam. I just moved here from Washington, D.C., and I am glad to have chosen this office as my "dental home." I never remember receiving a cleaning/exam as occurred at this office. The hygienist was also very nice and likewise for Dr. Alongi. They were very personal and made me comfortable throughout the process. I am actually looking forward to the next visit. Thank you.

I'm going to have to give Dr. Alongi office a 2-star rating. Only because I had got a crown put in and for a while the color stayed the same and I was very happy with my crown but suddenly it started turning brown I reached out to the doctor's office and ask them is there anything we can do to lift the stain on my porcelain Crown they informed me that I have to spend $600 on another tooth that they could not remove the stain and they're sorry but they can't help me when I feel as if that should not be the case at all Dentistry has been around for years you mean to tell me that you cannot remove
