Pretty poor service to have to leave a message and play phone tag 3 times to schedule an appointment. Then they tell me they are not accepting new patients. How about you put that on the recording so I do not waste my time? or was that a lie? It seemed like it was pulled out of thin air bc the first person I spoke to could have told me that when I told her we were new. But no. I was put on hold for several mins for someone else to pick up and tell me they are not accepting new patients. Do better.

My husband and I are so grateful to the excellent care our dog has received here. She's had two procedures that required anesthesia and being over
twelve years old - that had me concerned. One was to remove a thyroid growth which we were concerned was a cancer (it was not) and the other a
few months later was for her teeth cleaning. Dr. Smith did both surgeries
and our dog recovered without incident on both occasions. Also, their fees are very reasonable. I highly recommend Mile Hi Animal Hospital.

My family and I have had multiple bad experiences with this vet office. The first one was with one of our dogs that had surgery and then came home from and the area ripped almost immediately. When we took him back to have it fixed, they said it was our fault and that they did their job well, but they fixed it anyway. The next time that we needed to take this dog back for a routine visit, he growled at the vet tech that handled him last time and we have never heard him growl at a person before. He refused to go into the building, which is also very unlike him as he is a very happy and hyper dog

Several years ago I moved to Prescott from Michigan and needed a vet. I can't remember why I chose Mile-Hi Animal Hospital, but I could not have made a better choice. From the moment I called to make an appointment, to my arrival, the office staff could not have been nicer. Then there is Dr. Smith. How do I say thank you to him for all the love and care that he gave my furry kids over the years. There is no better Veterinarian in Prescott. I can't not thank Dr.'s Baxter and Sherlock also for the gentle care they gave our kids. Then there is the office staff and vet assistants. Let's face it, nobody

I love Dr. Baxter. She is intelligent and caring. Their prices might be on the high side, but I've lived in the area since 1995 and there isn't a better veterinary office. My animals have also seen the other doctors in the office, and everyone has their strong points. I just connect with Dr. Baxter on a mental level and like her way of doing things. They have been in business for years, and are always busy, if that tells you anything.

Dr Baxter was recommended to us by one of her good customers. We had an emergency w/our dog's ears - the receptionist told us 4-6 weeks for an appointment even in an emergency situation for a new customer!!! REALLY!???? We got in at 3:30 w/our regular vet here in Prescott and will never even think of going elsewhere!! They are wonderful!!

I recently had to take my dog Mallory in and unfortunately she had to unexpectedly be put down. Dr. Baxter was wonderful, patient and understanding that we needed time as we were not prepared for this decision. They let us take all the time we needed and bring in our other dog to say good-bye. They also take care of my other dog with the same amount of care and respect, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Dr. Baxter goes above and beyond in every aspect of care for her patients and their owners. She knows all 3 of my pets and I always trust her treatment and advice for them. My dog Keebler is a thrill seeker and she has helped him through chocolate indulgence, xylitol toxicity, and even when he ate 100 fish oil capsules. She cares about the overall well being of her clients, not just their health at the moment. When she isn't available Dr. Smith is always great too!

My rabbit was I'll and ibrought him in to get checked out by Dr Smith. It was a late afternoon appointment, but Smith was too busy running from room to room taking care of dogs. My rabbit was taken to the rear of the clinic. I fought Smith had time for my rabbit. In any case I was sent home with my rabbit. Even though I was giving him Critical Care, my rabbit died on Wednesday. Smith didn't care for m rabbit, his techs tended to him. If Smith can't care for an animal, he needs to set up some other arrangements

Dr. Smith is awesome and my elderly, scared dog seems to tolerate him. My other dog loves anyone. The clinic takes such good care of Ms. Emily (my elderly dog) who is afraid of the Vet. She gets her nails done and they "baby" her every time. I never worry about her health. The clinic always keeps me updated on her medications, shots, and concerns.
I really appreciate they never try to "sell me" anything and I am always treated nicely. I have never seen anyone treated rudely even when they are busy.

I have been a true blue fan of PAH until Dr. Smith repaired a severed achilles tendon to a friends cat who is now 100% healed and back to normal. It was an injury that PAH could not do and wanted to send us to a specialist in Phoenix. Dr. Smith's work is amazing. He is very competent and calming to those of us animal lovers that consider our pet (s) family.
He is now my pets Dr.

Dr. Baxter's bedside manner is horrific!
After being convinced to take my hospice dog into see Dr. Smith, I had the displeasure of encountering Dr. Baxter. I would have used the term greeted by or met, but neither one of those things happened.
Dr. Baxter I guess was taken back at the appearance of Cleo (dying of cancer) and subsequently treated me as if I was the most horrible person on earth, especially that my personal and spiritual beliefs did not coincide with her "modern medicine's gift" of lethal injection.
She told me Cleo was suffering and then contradicted
