Services
We are a progressive mixed animal hospital in Chino Valley, Arizona seeking a motivated full-time Associate Veterinarian. The purpose of this position is to assist veterinarians with patient care and treatment, monitor hospitalized pets, maintain inventory, prepare prescriptions, perform routine in-house lab work, educate clients regarding veterinary care and procedures and assist with surgical procedures.
Since pets age at a much quicker rate than humans, these visits will become increasingly important in early detection of any changes in their health. As your pet ages, a yearly visit to the vet is recommended. Since pets age at a much quicker rate than humans, these annual visits will become increasingly important to aid in detecting any changes in their health early.
Depending on your pet's age and vaccination history, your veterinarian might recommend a custom vaccination plan. It is our goal to keep vaccines cost-efficient, which is why we offer a free vaccine with your pet's first wellness exam. In addition to our recommended wellness schedule, we can provide you with health certificates and proof of your pet's vaccination history upon request.
Like any animal, they require a wide range of routine and emergency services. They need special care, though, and their large size may make it difficult to simply drive them to the vet's office like you would your cat or dog. We offer large animal medicine in Chino Valley and throughout the surrounding communities to ensure that your farm animals receive the same level of high-quality care as your companion animals.
The primary reason you should have your pet spayed or neutered early on is that female dogs and cats can begin their heat cycles as early as seven months and males can develop aggressive behaviors during puppyhood or kittenhood. Spaying and neutering your pets come with a myriad of health and behavioral benefits that allow them to live longer, happier lives.

Critical: Reliability
Don't know what is going on there but nothing like it use to be. Made an appointment which was 2 weeks out then get a call the day before canceling the appointment because of an illness then can't see the veterinarian I had scheduled with for another week. I am done with them after 20 plus years.

We are new to the area and needed a vet for all our pets. From the first appointment we were welcomed with total professionalism! The doctors are thorough, the staff are animal lovers and the cost for care is reasonable. We are definitely part of the Chino Valley Animal Hospital family now!

Experience was always great as usual. No complaints. You all go out of your way to help everyone, even though you are shorthanded. You are the best.

You guys wouldn’t take my dog in when he was dying. The lack of care to even help keep him alive or put him out of his misery hurts our family tremendously. Your front desk staff told us to go to Prescott valley vet clinic knowing that my dog wouldn’t even make it. Living in paulden and as far away as vet clinics are in Prescott or Prescott valley our pets wouldn’t even make it. He was hit by an idiotic human being that lead him to his death. He was our friend greatly missed and only a pup still. Vet clinics like you need people who actually care about animals. We are extremely torn up about

My beautiful baby was diagnosed with PCE and it was very progressive. They did everything in their power without costing me an arm and a leg, to save him, but his quality of life just wouldn’t be the same. They were thoughtful,, caring and very helpful with his last moments. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for one of the most horrible days of my life. They weren’t very expensive and were honest with their care plan. I drive WAY out of my way because of how kind they are. (I live across the street from another vet that I won’t bother mentioning). Thank you to the entire staff

You are thorough and listen. She is always at ease even if she isn't feeling well. Service prices and meds are reasonable.

I've had the most refreshing experience at Chino Valley Animal Hospital. The receptionists at the front desk are knowledgeable and friendly. Once I sat down to wait, I only had to wait less than 5 minutes to be called in to see the vet. The vet was thorough in his exam and professional. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a vet for their pets.

I recommend this vet to literally everyone I know in the area. I have never had a bad experience with them and I think they are absolutely rockstars. They saved one of my dogs from parvo then helped us through the process of getting all her vet bills payed for by the vaccine company. Then saved my other dogs life without charge over the phone instructing me what to do. I am truly grateful for everything they do and I will always use them.

This is by far the most caring, professional and least expensive vet in the area. We had just moved here and wanted to get our girl fixed so started our journey to find a vet. We met with a couple vets and we’re absolutely shocked on how much it was to spay our dog. I have 6 dogs all spayed/neutered and never paid more them $150 ever. We were getting estimates from $500-$800! Anyways decided to keep looking and later that week we went to have dinner and met this really nice couple next to us and they were telling us how they had to just put their dog down and how caring the vet was so we asked
