Yes, if the lease buy-out fee has been paid. A 60-day notice is required before vacating your apartment, and the lease buy-out fee is two times the rent amount. Please make sure that you reference your signed lease agreement and confirm policies with your Property Manager as there could be unique circumstances.

Just moved to Timber cove apartments from California going on 3 months ago
I really love my little apartment and the AC and heat work great . Also when moving a awesome friendly neighbor helped me .
It’s right by the lake and the management is very friendly. I tend to forget things and I didn’t get renters insurance and they were friendly about reminding me when I got the charge for it on my bill . They are very nice and everything worked in my apartment and it’s safe too .

Ran into a few hiccups during the move-in process that were dealt with pretty quickly. Overall some really chill people work here.

Some notes for those considering to rent...
They typically give 48-hour notice before they need to be in your apartment even though the lease says 24: a big plus.
Even though the complexes are locked from the outside, you can still receive Amazon packages.
A laundry center is in each complex, but you'll get a specific cash card.
You have a couple different options for internet, but Comcast/Xfinity works great.

Timber Cove is the best place to live! My boyfriend and I have lived here with our two dogs for a little over two years! (We recently renewed for another year!) This was the only affordable place that allowed our two dogs during the time we were searching for a place to live together. There is an off leash dog park which my dogs absolutely love! There plenty of sidewalks weaving all around the complex to walk your dog without leaving the property. There are controlled access doors to keep unwanted solicitors from knocking on your door. There is an intercom system in our apt so when we order delivery

Apartments are spacious, with a layout that makes it feel like a home not an apartment. Very welcoming of pets and children. Management is very personable and was very quick with even the smallest repairs. The Parking lots aren’t assigned spots but we never had any issues with being close enough to the door. I’ve lived here on and off for about 3 years now, 2 separate apartments and don’t have any complaints

I have been waiting six months for this moment and now that I have my house, I can finally share my news. Friends, family, and anyone who will listen to me if you are looking for a good apartment to rent in Decatur, IL, heed my warning: STEER CLEAR OF TIMBER COVE! Living there was one of the worst experiences of my life. At first it started out well, good environment, safe, pet friendly...But the rosey clouds took a stormy turn. They told me what mail I could or could not receive. Would send notice of possible charges only two days ahead of time (if that). Would enter my apartment with only twenty

Best Apartments in Decatur!!!
I've been at at Timber Cove for 10yrs and really enjoy it here! Great ammeneties that you're not going to find at any of the other apartments in the Decatur or Mt. Zion areas.
I love that they have a fenced in dog area because my girl has a lot of energy and I can't drive to or pay to big membership fees for the ones that are ran by the park district. They've also been doing a great job updating and refreshing things around the complex. (ex: They just put in new washers & dryers in the laundry rooms in each of our buildings.)
