Christian Care Center Of Memphis
Caring and commitment come from the heart and result in our residents being treated with the dignity, courtesy and compassion that everyone deserves. Every day we strive to remember that no job is "small" or "unimportant". Attending to details and realizing that a person's need for compassion and dignity does not lessen with age or infirmity is key to the level of compassionate care that we provide.

Our residents become our friends and we try to ensure that each one lives to the fullest of his or her abilities. Christian Care Center of Memphis provides individualized long-term care in a comfortable and friendly environment. Residents receive care that maintains human dignity and preserves a sense of freedom, identity, and independence.
Services
We offer Physical, Speech and Occupational therapies for our short-term rehab clients and long-term care residents. In addition, we now offer our therapy services on an out-patient basis too. Our therapy gym features the latest innovative equipment.

Other on-site services include Wound Care, a Restorative Program, Respite Services, Pharmacy Services, Mental Health Services, Podiatry Services, Dental Care, Vision Services, and much more for those we serve.
My sister has been in several facilities, and Christian Care Center of Memphis is the best in the area! I'm impressed with everyone who works there. The therapy department is doing physical and occupational therapy with her, and they are amazing. They're doing a great job and are so caring! The staff at Christian Care Center of Memphis is very kind and diligent; I can't say enough good things about them.
We know it can be the little things that help someone decide on a nursing facility! That's why we're happy to offer our residents some extra amenities such as a putting green, shuffleboard court, and an ice cream parlor! Plus we also have a full service salon featuring beauty, barber, manicure and pedicure services.
Our facility is pleased to offer my services to residents and their family members. As residents' continue their life's journey with us, the peace-of-mind, strength, and hope that comes through faith and prayer can be very rewarding. Because of this, I wish to be a welcome friend and spiritual counselor to those who come to stay with us.

If I could give this facility less than 1 star, I would. This place, and specifically, Beverly Edwards, has THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced.
My father called me to express his displeasure with his care at The Waters, mind you, he hadn't even been at the facility a full day. He expressed he hadn't been given medicine after over 12 hours of being there. After several attempts to call and speak with a nurse to get better clarity, TO NO AVAIL, I was forced to go there and try and speak with someone face to face. It took more than 20 minutes for the administrator, Beverly Edwards

On Feb 2 2021 my brother was accepted by Christian Care Center to come to this facility when he is discharged from the hospital. On Feb 10 2021 he was discharged from the hospital to come to Christian Care Center only to find out on that day they rejected him to come. So they pick and choose certain cases that is easy for them in my opinion. But you are a Nursing home that should be there to help all cases and you have the name Christian in front of your name which should represent Christ like. Jesus didn't turn anyone away that needed help nor did he have a respecter of persons. So don't send

In October of 2020 my grandmother suffered a stroke. Although it left her partially paralyzed, she was able to sit up and feed herself. We transferred her to Christian Care in hopes to continue rehab for a few months. While there my grandmother contracted Covid19, Shingles, a blood infection, a urinary tract infection, bed sores and her overall health decreased. She is no longer able to sit up and we have never seen her in her wheelchair or any other position other than in the bed with no TV most times. She was rushed to the ER once non responsive and the ER doctor stated that the facility told

I just recently started working at Christian and so far my experience here has been great! The facility is nice and clean as well as more up to date than a lot of the other nursing facilities here in Memphis. The staff has been so kind to assist me in my new role.

My grandmother came here for a broken hip. She laid in her “soiled diaper” all night. She said the nursing staff repeatedly would enter her room and cut her “call light” off and never return. She would “call” for a pain pill and the nurse would never show up. I would “visit” and could tell she had not had a bath since she arrived. My family never got an “update” on how my grandmother was doing. They never answer the phone. Terrible place. Poorly run.

This is a great place to have your love one come. They treat them like family. The activity Director Kenna Todd does an awesome job of keeping them engaged. The Social Services Director Ms Kimmons takes care of your love on. Ms. Danridge and Mr. Thomas excellent Admission people. Jason Murphy Exec Dir. and Ashley Tanner Asst. Director are great Administrative team.

I have a grandmother in this facility. Not only will nobody answer the phone most of the time. The only one that does is the front desk.. but they apparently can't leave the desk to do absolutely anything about anything. And gave me the wrong number to my grandmothers direct phone. The nurses are no where to be found in the station. My grandmother said there are none (which makes since bc i was on a ringing phone for 10 minutes with no answer). The person who run the facility is also no where to be found.. but hes supose to be there.. im fed up trying to call this place and get no answers every

This place is terrible. The staff is all about money. They left my mother in a soiled diaper 2 days. Removed her catheter twice when it was not suppose to be removed. They had no answers and the staff will tell you that they are under staffed. Everyone at the facility was basically new they have a high turn over. The facility looks nice but nice looks don’t Make up for the poor service.

2019 to present has been a trying time for our family. My dad had a massive stoke in March of 2019, my stepmom (his main caregiver) was hospitalized in December. Dad went into CCC in January 2020, stepmom passed in February and Covid hit in March.
Five months passed without me, family or friends being able to touch, hug or console my dad in person. But, the staff and caregivers at CCC made sure he stayed safe, cared for and entertained as best they could- even in the midst of the pandemic. They called me, answered my calls, texts and requests to raise the blinds so I could talk to him through

Staff was disrespectful of patients. Treated my ex like crap. To have someone who has gone through hell to be disrespected in a place that is supposed to help him be able to go home. Even his daughter saw the change in him and he was only there 3 days. The staff needs some training on how to treat people

I am sorry but my opinion of the Center is very poor. The therapists were wonderful. Overall care was awful. No communication between shifts. My mother fell and the next shift had no idea. Sometimes she got meds and sometimes she did not. We had to be very diligent. We stayed with her during the day. Not allowed to at nite. Call lights were not answered. Nursing staff said it was the responsibility of the CNA's. There may have been one CNA to a hall. I noticed one gentleman up and informed the staff that he almost fell. I assisted him to chair. Staff continued there conversation

I am really trying to be fair here, but if you really care about your loved one, this is not the place for you! Having said that, let me give a shout out to the nurses and the PT staff, couldn't be nicer. From the very start, everything was misrepresented before we signed on the dotted line. But, we moved past that........CNAs were worthless and unkind!!!!! All you want for your love one is to be treated with respect and dignity. Nurse practioner came in to review all medications, made some adjustments but those changes were never made. Dietician came in with questions, a few of the answers
