It all started with three young men and a wide-eyed dream of improving the culture and standards of long-term care. My mother has been a resident for almost 5 years. The Director of Nursing, Administrative Team and nursing staff have always been kind and supportive. It has been like home to her. She has a nice room decorated for her personal things to make her feel comfortable. The CNAs and housekeepers over the years have also been helpful. I appreciate all who are there. It is not an easy task to take care of.others loved ones, especially as they age and have more physical issues. My prayer is for God to bless each one living there, working there and family's as well.

Willowbend Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Marion, Arkansas is an asset to our community and surrounding areas. It's a blessing to have this beautiful new facility here. When I have visited the facility the staff is professional but friendly and attentive. but most importantly the residents are happy.

My father was at Willowbend in 2018 with advanced dementia including the need for supervised feedings and general daily care while being confined to a wheelchair. He received excellent care by all departments and personnel. He always had the biggest smile on his face because of all the attention he received from the medical staff and even from the director and marketing staff. He introduced one staff members “as his girlfriend” on one occasion. He was near the end of life and required a lot of supervision which I am pleased to say he got at Willowbend. He was moved to an in-facility hospice

Unless you have the money or good insurance, you'd probably be better off finding another place. Communication is ZERO. My mother died there and I have YET to hear from anyone at this facility except for the bills for her time there. They didn't even call when she died, they left it up to the hospice on call staff. Not to mention, things that went to the facility with her, were no where to be find when we got there to see her for the last time. I could continue but you get the idea.

Facility failed to notify any family that my stepmother had been found unresponsive...had been sent to hospital and pronounced dead...and not even told us which hospital she had been sent to. NOT ONE SINGLE FAMILY MEMBER WAS CONTACTED. Had to call just to find out she had been sent out and was already dead..but they weren't sure which hospital. HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN??
