Michael Snider Counseling
Have you tried different ways to change or feel better but not been able to make it last?. Life isn't always easy. Sometimes it seems overwhelming. Because of that, even the strongest people amongst us sometimes need a little bit of help to work through some of life's more challenging problems. Adults and teens who are experiencing the pain - and negative consequences -of addiction to alcohol or drugs, and who are seeking addiction counseling.

Women and men who are feeling the symptoms of depression or grief, such as a feeling of sadness or hopelessness, loss of interest in activities you normally enjoy, and trouble focusing or concentrating. Parents who are struggling to deal with their child's behavioral problems, such as truancy, drug or alcohol use, anger outbursts, and defiant/oppositional behaviors.
Services
What makes an effective counselor? Is it an understanding of the medical causes behind struggles like anxiety or depression? While this is certainly critical for successful counseling, I believe that true progress with my clients comes from something deeper.

Since becoming a licensed counselor over sixteen years ago, I've worked with children, teenagers and adults who have struggled with a wide range of addictions, mental health struggles and personal crises.I first entered the field out of a desire to help others, and I've now had the opportunity to do so in several diverse jobs and circumstances.
Not at all. People who ask for help know when they need it and have the ability to reach out. Everyone needs help now and then. You already have some strengths that you've used before, that for whatever reason isn't working right now. Perhaps this problem feels overwhelming and is making it difficult to access your past strengths.
Are you experiencing occasions where you drink or do more of a drug than you planned to do? Do you find yourself preoccupied with substance use and/or addiction and planning your day around this? Perhaps you are experiencing relationship difficulties, problems at work, or even legal issues related to your substance use.
Have you been asking yourself, "what's happening to me; I feel so lost and hopeless; I don't enjoy doing things that I normally do; I don't have any energy." You are not alone. Depression is a common mood disorder that affects millions of adults, adolescents, and children every year in the United States.
Depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?.

We had tried to get in touch with Mr.Snider and never returned any calls. And when he finally answered he was very rude and unwilling to help. I wouldn’t expect this kind of behavior from a professional counselor. I wouldn’t recommend him.
