I am a licensed psychologist and have worked in Wright and Sherburne counties for over 26 years. For many years I provided therapy in community mental health settings and have been in private practice in Monticello, MN since 2003. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, MN and my Masters degree in clinical psychology from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL.
My husband and I have been married 26 years and have two children. In my free time I enjoy reading, running, playing violin and spending time with family and friends. I believe building a therapeutic relationship is an important first step in the counseling process followed by partnering with you in a sensitive, respectful, practical, and non-judgmental way.

Services
Tollefson Counseling Services provides individual and family therapy for children, teens/adolescents and adults. Payment: We accept most major insurances in addition to self-pay which is available for those without insurance and for those who desire privacy and confidentiality. I am not a Medicare provider.
