We believe in educating our clients on healthier choices for our hair and lives. So many hair and personal care products in the USA are unregulated and potentially dangerous. As hairstylists, we work daily with chemicals. Although we are using luxury and high end color products such as Wella, Redken, and Joico - we know minimizing toxic chemicals is an important philosophy in our work.

I had a FABULOUS experience at Flirt Salon this past Saturday. Lindsey listened to my concerns and wishes for my hair, including possible hair cuts for the future. She was very knowledgeable and was able to work with my thick, coarse hair. I absolutely LOVE my haircut! It was very easy to schedule my appointment, parking was not an issue and the salon is centrally located. CANT WAIT TO VISIT SOON!

Well - I don't think I have EVER written a negative review of a place, but like many of you, I know how hard it is to find a good stylist. I came to Flirt three times (same stylist each time) but will never return again.
My first visit was great. The salon was quiet, my stylist was focused on me and gave me a great cut. Came back a second time and like others have said, I was squeezed in between multiple appointments, my stylist was busy talking to other clients and staff and was not really focused on my cut. I left disappointed but thought I would try one last time knowing sometimes

Loved my experience at Flirt. I'm new-ish to Charlotte and have had a couple bad experiences at some well-known salons in the area. I took a chance based on Yelp's reviews and gave Flirt a try, and I'm so happy I did! A very cute salon located in Dilworth, which is perfect since I live in South End and work uptown. The salon is charming, just 3 stylists but they each have their own room which I love as opposed to being lined up like cattle at other salons. I saw John who did an excellent job with my highlights and cut. He was on time, friendly, and gave me exactly what I was looking

I chose to have my hair cut at Flirt based on the Yelp reviews, however I was incredibly disappointed with my experience. First, my appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks out. But that didn't bother me. I just assumed the salon did really good business.
When I arrived for my appointment, another lady was having highlights done. So my appointment was basically squeezed into the middle of her hair appointment. I felt completely rushed. I also assumed that part of the appeal of going to a pricey salon was that the stylist would have some creativity and ideas as to what type of hair style best

Kerri is awesome! I havent lived in Charlotte for 15 years and changing hairstylists is awful! I tried her and she was just what I needed. My hair is short and funky, like me. Every stylist I had before her, wanted to "man" cut me.....We try all kinds of colors, and cuts. I want funky, choppy trendy cuts, and she is just what I was looking for!!!

The appointment started late.
The only question that was asked about my hair: how much length do you want off?
About 25-30 minutes later I left with: a boring and ugly blunt cut, too much length taken off, and $72 dollars less.
I had long hair with long layers. My hair is thick, so normally it gets thinned with thinning shears and some razoring for the layers. All I wanted was a trim. I walked out with my long layers being whacked off into a blunt cut.

Kerri is fantastic. After moving from Brooklyn to Charlotte, it took me a while to find a place a really liked, and lo and behold, Kerri is from Brooklyn. I swear it's a coincidence!
She does an amazing job with the really long thick hair. She cleaned it up and made it look much more polished while hardly taking off any length. I also have long blunt bangs which need regular trims, which Kerri does for free and you're in a out in a couple minutes (still tip though!).
Other perks--you can book your appt online, no product pushing, and Kerri is a really genuine cool girl.

I have tried 3 different salons in Charlotte and have had okay to horrible experiences at all three. I have lived in Charlotte for 3 years and it has been extremely difficult to find a stylist who listens and takes their time to make sure they know what I'm asking for as far as color and cut. Well after today I do not have to look any further!!!! After reading reviews on YELP for Flirt Salon and Kerri (Stylist), I decided to give them a try and make an appointment today to have my roots colored (I'm a brunette w some warmth in my hair) and a small trim (I'm letting my hair grow out

Fantastic place. Very happy I found it! Kerri is wonderful. Whenever I splurge for some professional hair-doing, it seems most stylists can't resist (no matter what I say to deter them otherwise) applying sparse, "natural, golden highlights" with "some soft layers to frame the face" and then they flip the whole thing out with a blow-dryer and giant roller brush. And then charge $300. This is a lovely look, and I'm sure Kerri could do it. But she seemed excited for me that I wanted something "different." She gave me milk-chocolatey hair with red chunks

I've been a client of Kerri's for a few years now and was so excited when she opened Flirt! My friends always compliment my hair style and who doesn't love a compliment?! Flirt does a great job, is reasonablly priced, well located and most importantly, you look much better when you leave than when you arrive!
