Prior to establishing Finneran & Nicholson, P.C. in 1984, the Firm's founder practiced at the internationally known firms of Shearman & Sterling LLP in New York and Bingham McCutchen LLP (formerly known as Bingham Dana LLP) in Boston.
After having practiced law at the national law firms of Shearman & Sterling in New York and Bingham McCutchen LLP (f/k/a Bingham Dana LLP) in Boston, both of which engaged in large international and commercial law practices, Attorney Finneran founded the law firm of Finneran & Nicholson, P.C. in 1984.
Attorney Nicholson joined the firm in 1988 and is now the Managing Partner of Finneran & Nicholson, P.C. Attorney Nicholson has extensive trial experience in handling a wide range of securities, commercial, business, corporate, real estate, discrimination and employment arbitration, litigation and enforcement matters, including multiple party and complex litigation.
Attorney Adam Page is the Managing Director of the firm's Corporate Department. Adam focuses his practice on corporate, business, mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate and has extensive experience working with entrepreneurs and small to mid-sized companies.
He counsels his clients on matters such as: entity formation and structuring ownership agreements; business disputes among owners; commercial real estate matters including leasing and the purchase and sale of property; corporate finance including both debt and equity investments; mergers and acquisitions; contract negotiations; and employment law including drafting employment, confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements.

I used this firm appropriately 3 years ago. I was looking for them to draw up a partnership agreement for a startup company that was in development. I explained to them that i wanted to keep down cost due to being a startup. They said no problem and quoted me a price at our meeting of $750. They then proceeded to charge me for every phone call and email sent and it cost me over $2,000 to complete the agreement. I can tell you do not trust what they tell you!

I've worked with Finneran and Nicholson for number of years for my business and they have always been a great resource for me. Very happy with the work they have done on my behalf. Additionally I have used their Real Estate Attorney personally for a smooth transaction as well. The nice thing about them is the attorney's specialize in their field. My business attorney doesn't get involved with the real estate side and vice versa. It's a great team approach though to have it all under one roof.

I have worked with many attorneys throughout my business career. Being self employed it's so important to have and attorney that has your back on all of your business dealings. And also recommends all necessary business practices that will keep you out of situations that you really don't want to, or plan to get into.
